Faschists love dreaming about a world where a certain groups they designate as unwanted need to worry about random acts of violence.

Smith’s resignation from the Justice Department was expected. Trump, who has frequently called Smith “deranged,” had said that he would fire him immediately upon taking office on Jan. 20, and has suggested that he may pursue retribution against Smith and others who investigated him once he returns to office.

No justice. No peace. No law. We’re fucked.

A plurality of voters (not majority) voted for this corrupt retribution driven government. That’s the fucked up part.

Musk had control of voting machines in swing states. I’ll never believe Trump won legitimately. The real tragedy was that it was close enough to rig.

No candidate received the majority. Trump received 49.9% of the vote, which was the most of any of the candidates.

Therefore he won the plurality of votes. Buy he still did not win the majority.

Thanks for clarifying, you’re right he got just under 50%. For some reason I thought he got a majority this time but I was misinformed.

I think for the first week or so after the election it was a slim majority, but eventually slipped under as more mail-in ballots arrived.

I don’t know if this is a “thing” but i read it on the Internet, so grain of salt:

If he got fired, they could suppress the report, but resigning allows it to go through proper (not Trump’s) channels and be released to the public.(?)
