Yep, though there is no real fanfare other then the indicator at the bottom showing 250 energy orb was collected
The orb does give a little visual pulse and sound effect but it’s very subtle and easy to miss unless you’re looking for it.
Been like that since the Void first released, as far as I remember. Death Orbs are those spinning laser and ground stumping orbs BTW. It’s kinda nice when speed running Hepit with a Titania Prime, keeps your energy topped off.
