“The Flight Attendant” series creator Steve Yockey has climbed onboard the next “Star Trek” film as its new writer. Variety reports that Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot intend the project to be the final chapter for the ‘Kelvin Timeline’ cast that rebooted the films beginning with 2009’s “Star Trek”. That includes Chris Pine (as Capt. […]

I’d be happy to see the kelvin timeline crew one more time, really enjoyed those three films.

Oh my, what a trainwreck (trekwreck?) Very doubtful that movie can get the whole gang back together. And that other one? An Origin story for Star Trek? What, like 2009’s Star Trek?

Ever since Abrams, Orci and Kurtzman got their hands on the franchise, it’s cursed. At least the series side of it slowly comes back to something resembling actual Star Trek.

Honestly, almost seems like too long since the last movie.

I’d expect a full reboot at this point, is there really a large following that wants more of this?

Casting was the best part of the newer movies, even with some of the changes, but I wasn’t a fan of the stories. They weren’t Trek. I take that back, the very beginning of 2009 felt Trek. Still enjoy that clip, even with the lens flares.

Plot: they need to steal a klingon ship and travel back in time to stop the making of this movie.
