The thing about values and integrity is that these things aren’t up for debate. My decisions been made, it is part of what I consider me, outcomes be damned. There is no future for me separated from my values. I accept whatever peace, wealth, misfortune, violence or death that that brings me.
And modern war, by the time America is involved, boots on the ground, will be over as soon as it starts. You really think a sufficiently equipped, advanced tech military like ours is gonna roll thru street by street, house by house.

I’m a proponent of nonviolence where possible, and I do believe it is possible, though where it isn’t possible, I’d rather die than be subjugated. Artillery or gunfire, I’ll take the death on my feet because the other options are horrific.
