Lionsgate's last six films have all been box office slumps, and while the studio is mitigating risk, reshoots on "Ballerina" could signal trouble ahead.
Maybe if they stop puking the same old garbage on us, we’d want to go to the movies more.
On friday I went to an indie film premiere and there wasn’t an empty seat to be had. It only cost 2 million to make and was one of the best movies I’ve seen in years. I also regularly visit my local community theatre where they play old gems and its always super busy. People are happy to pay for a nice night at the movies. You just need to provide good content.

May I ask what this indie film was?
The same indie film that topped the US box office last weekend, Terrifier 3.
Thanks!
