Military reports 3 terrorists killed in clash with Israeli forces in Gaza building; authorities investigating whether elusive arch-terrorist among dead; officials note no indications of hostages on site
Having their land includes the depopulation of all the jews in Israel? Coz that’s what Palestinians in Gaza are advocating for, and I don’t see that happening anytime soon (or ever).
the depopulation of all the jews in Israel [is] what Palestinians in Gaza are advocating for
That’s exactly as true and accurate as saying that “The Jews in Israel are advocating for the ethnic cleansing of all the Arabs from Eretz Yisrael”. Such a phrase of course is antisemitic as fuck, and no reasonable person would say it. Just like your phrase is racist/anti-palestinian as fuck. Which makes me think you’re not a reasonable person.
Yeah I wrote that poorly. Of course not all Gazans want the expulsion of all Jews out of Israel. I meant the Palestinian authority in Gaza - that is Hamas - is advocating for that.
Until some other authority rises up in Gaza (or forced to be there, like putting Fatah there), I don’t see an end to this conflict.
Inside of historic Palestine, yes. Zionism has been the obstacle to peace as far back as British Occupation. Works by Ilan Pappe and Avi Schlaim, two Israeli historians, can discuss why the One-State Solution is the only real solution. The foreign affairs article also does a good job detailing why
Peace Process and Solution
Both Hamas and Fatah have agreed to a Two-State solution based on the 1967 borders for decades. Oslo and Camp David were used by Israel to continue settlements in the West Bank and maintain an Apartheid, while preventing any actual Two-State solution
Hamas proposed a full prisoner swap as early as Oct 8th, and agreed to the US proposed UN Permanent Ceasefire Resolution. Additionally, Hamas has already agreed to no longer govern the Gaza Strip, as long as Palestinians receive liberation and a unified government can take place.
During the current war, Hamas officials have said that the group does not want to return to ruling Gaza and that it advocates for forming a government of technocrats to be agreed upon by the various Palestinian factions. That government would then prepare for elections in Gaza and the West Bank, with the intention of forming a unified government.
Hopefully now a better future for Palestinians and Israelis is ahead.
Once the leader who murdered 30,000 Palestinian civilians is brought to justice, maybe.
Remember kids, you already know what Palestine without Hamas looks like: is the apartheid regime of the West Bank!
1 died, 10 others will be born. This will continue until the Palestinians have their land and rights back.
This is simply a statement of fact: “Palestinians say drone footage shows Sinwar’s ‘heroic’ final moments in Gaza”.
This is not how peace will come. “You can do many things with bayonets except sit on them.” ~ Talleyrand

It never has. It means equal rights for Palestinians
Equal rights as in inside of Israel? As in 1 state solution? No way can they live without murdering each other at this point.

Nice straw man. Conservatives always think everyone is as ghoulish as them
