Casa de Papel. The first season is its own contained story and it was fantastic and ended perfectly. The subsequent seasons were okay, but you could really tell that the writers hadn’t expected the show to continue after season 1, and everything kind of felt made up on the spot and not nearly as well constructed. I watched it because I love some of the actors/characters, but when I recommend it to people, I tell them to only watch the first season.

Kind of weird… so it did have a latch that could be opened from the inside, but he stuck something in it from inside the freezer in order to lock himself in? Not sure if I read that right.

This is the correct answer. It’s so bad it’s good! And it combines something halfway reasonable with a scribble someone spent 2 seconds on. Which really captures the spirit of what this community will (hopefully) become.

It was Christmas 2006 and I had an old iPod Mini that I was trying to put some more music onto. Something went wrong though and somehow all of the music, photos and videos had on the device was deleted. The only thing left was a single song, James Brown’s “I Feel Good”.

It didn’t make any sense how I could have accidentally deleted everything EXCEPT for one song, like you’d think either nothing would be wrong, or everything would be deleted. Why just one song?

Later that day we turned on the news and found out James Brown had died that day.

I know it was just a coincidence…And it’s such a small, inconsequential thing…but I still think about it sometimes.
