If you don’t like paying for the mistakes of law enforcement, legislate punishment on law enforcement that makes mistakes!
When it’s a judge you have to vote them out (usually), and since they were voted in you have to punish the taxpayer for making such a boneheaded mistake.
It’s a taxpayer votes in this chuckle fucker again and maybe we need to punish them that much harder.
The government has the money to spare otherwise they would stop fucking up so goddamn always.
The problem with this kind of sarcasm is how many people mean it sincerely makes the sarcasm seem at least potentially not sarcastic.

If you were chatting with them and you used the proper name “Affordable Care Act” or ACA to describe Obamacare they would immediately think it is a dog whistle for communism and that it was just a way for liberals to rebrand Obamacare. Their entire universe is backwards, inside out, and upside down.

Juries determine guilt. Judges conduct trials.
Plea bargains are a way for the state to save itself the expense of a trial but the way it works out is to compel people to accept a lighter punishment via plea deal than they might get at trial even if they are innocent because there is little that pisses of the incarceration industrial complex more than being innocent.
Judges (generally) can’t just summarily pronounce you guilty, but they can let the prosecution get away with anything it wants, prohibit you from presenting evidence on your own behalf, and editorialize on the facts of the case to the jury.
The whole system is engineered to lock up as many people as possible and it makes a mind boggling amount of money doing it while also using various methods to discourage targeted civilians from participating in society.
Now they have a new excuse of not doing anything important or interesting so they don’t “taint” Harris.
They didn’t tell us the age of the assailant last time or the victim. I’m guessing they tend to choose words for the headline that might have the most impact.

Adobe basically invented the SaaS model. It’s not really practical to bootleg most Adobe products anymore either so most people break down and just pay the million dollar a year subscription fee so they can keep using it.
Communism is incompatible with private property or classes which is why no matter how many states write “communism” on the tin, what they actually put in it is just fascist enforced state capitalism.

The developer can’t force Apple to let the developer give it to you for free. Apple doesn’t tolerate free very well and anything that is free on Apple is likely either a privacy nightmare or is paid for by some subscription you have with Apple.
This isn’t a problem with the app It’s a problem with the Apple.
I’m curious where you are that a business line doesn’t cost more than a residential one because in my area it’s three times as much. I am fortunate enough that I get symmetrical gigabit for $90 a month and although they don’t promise static IP my IP has not changed in a while.
If I wanted to get a real static IP I would have to upgrade to a business line It would cost $280 a month.

If you can, get pictures of the dog running unleashed and try to make sure the picturea don’t come from an angle that makes it obvious it was taken from your yard.
Taking photos from the street will give you some enhanced credibility and anonymity while also making the authorities think this is more than a neighborly dispute.

I put it on a lot of things sweet and savory alike. It goes with the rosemary, pepper, salt and coriander when I roast potatoes. It also goes into snickerdoodles or a half dozen different kinds of cake. It also makes a really good additive to soap if you make your own soap.

I don’t believe that the state has the right to make examples out of people, unless those people took an oath to the state and used that power to abuse people. Then, the state is obligated to do it.
Example making is a confession of impotence. It’s a way of highlighting the fact that you have up until now failed to do what you are supposed to be doing and would like to draw attention to a specific incident where you actually follow through on your responsibilities.
To put it another way, I think you must make examples out of people who abuse power you give them because it’s your fault and theirs that this happened. So they have earned being made into an example and you are obligated to make one. You must confess your impotence if you are in power.
Anything less than that is cowardice and corruption.
If you have a problem with the way that police are treated in prison then you have a problem with the way that prisons let people get treated. Under no circumstances should a police officer get special treatment at any step along the way unless that’s to make it harsher and more punitive.
Kahn is the real deal. I hope Harris keeps her and gives her anything she asks for.
