Man, I’d love to play Alan Wake 2. Big Remedy fan; Control was my game of the year for two years. Be nice if they’d release it on a platform I’d buy it on.

The best written games are all indies now. Text and story heavy games are pretty common, with varying amounts of “game” to carry the story. Check out Citizen Sleeper, Disco Elysium, or Book of Hours.
Poor people move where it’s cheaper to live. It’s cheaper to live where risk is higher. This is how risk is systematically offloaded onto the lower class. We build and live in these dangerous places, and we suffer all the loss and damage from those risks. The owner class takes all the profits and value from those places while investing little to nothing in them (too risky!)
Visit your nearest aquarium! They often have a petting tank where you can touch rays and small sharks. And if not, hey, at least the aquarium is still great!
Some alcohol cooks off when used this way, but not all. Be cautious when cooking for others to mention this so non-drinkers can make an informed choice.
It can be a delicious addition though: alcohol dissolves flavor and aromatic compounds that water and fat cannot, so you get a lot of unique flavors especially from barrel-aged drinks like whisky and wine.
Sounds like the octopus wrangler knows how to leverage the behaviors of the various animals around it towards it’s own ends. Pretty interesting! I’m also curious about their potential follow ups to see if they have memory for and can recognize previous group members.
My mother raises hens and a dozen birds can actually make so many eggs that our entire family has trouble using them all. A bird lays on average one egg a day, and pasture-raised eggs are so rich as to be almost unpalatable to eat directly.
I don’t think every farm needs to have some strict limit like that, but more numerous, smaller, more localized farms would be better for everyone in almost every way. Better environmentally, more humane to the birds, people get fresher and higher quality eggs, and more people are employed. Also more limited damage from diseases, droughts, and so on.
Our current system isnt just bad because “factories bad.” It’s bad because it’s heavily centralized and top-down controlled. This is much cheaper to operate and funnels money towards the owner much better, but is so much worse in every way that local farms are better.
We’re making millions of birds suffer and getting shittier, more expensive product because of it so less than a dozen people (the real bad eggs) can stay filthy rich.
I just have a human sized Dyson air blade. As I step out of the shower, hurricane force winds blow all the water back into it.
This person isn’t one of my usual YT watches, but I really enjoyed this overview of The Crow related media. I had no idea the series ran so deep, or had so much nasty Weinstein influence.
Its a shame, there’s so much potential in this series that our media apparatus is systematically incapable of making good on.
Tried to last minute the EDD last night and we did not make it! We ran entirely out of ammo and nitra in stage 2 during the twins fight. Managed to finish them off with melee and then died trying to run for the droppod, which spawned seemingly miles from the dreadnoughts. Our scout dropped one room away, but I didn’t like our chances for stage 3 anyway. Hopefully this week is better!
Haven’t had this happen yet, what a nightmare!
On a recent escort, she did plow through a barrage though, which was pretty funny, until the other barrage and the spitballer locked on.
Alas, they finally fixed the core stone shield glitch. Now we have to actually do the fight. It’s still easiest to just set up criss-crossing zip lines and do the whole fight in the air, so gunner remains essential. Still a boring event too.
It’ll have no trouble meeting my expectations, because I expect that Bethesda today can’t make a good game so I expect it to be shiiiiiiit!
But also, fuck Bethesda and this “lower your expectations” bullshit. No Todd, it isn’t impossible to please your fans. No Todd, it isn’t impossible to make a good AAA game. No Todd, it isn’t a burden or a problem to have millions of fans who have high expectations for you.
If you can’t cut it, fucking quit and hand the reins over to someone with fresh ideas, someone who’s still hungry and still wants to make good things.
Why wait? Those horny, gym-rat twinks are out there waiting for you right now!
People in times of desperate oppression and violence rarely turn to the uncaring vastness of the chaotic universe for comfort.
Is it just me, or is it worrying how companies keep packing up and selling off the only parts of their businesses that actually, you know, make stuff, in favor of becoming full time bullshit peddlers?
Sounds better than last week. That final EDD mission was a nightmare, we broke into a cave with 2 barrages, a brood nest, a spitballer, and a truckload of regular enemies. I think a couple of bulks spawned in too, just for good measure. Hated the warnings too these are more fun.
Space Mutiny is my favorite, but since OP already claimed it (now who will bring toys to the children!?) I’ll go with my close second, Overdrawn at the Memory Bank. It’s such trash and Raul Julia tears up every blessed scene he’s in. He only dabbles in dopples but his love for the cinemas is easy to reciprocate.
It’s posts that are a step up from piss-posting, but below regular unmodified posting.
