I really like folk instruments. I’ve been working on learning accordion, but I’ve put it down for a while. I’m going to make serious study a goal in 2024. Although I don’t know what I’d do with it!
I’d like to learn to play to play the hurdy-gurdy or one it’s relatives, the Balalaika , any fipple, or any of the hammered dulcimers.
In practicality, I should be a better keyboardist though

Ancient words are weird; meanings/ spellings change and are lost to time. It’s what makes it all so interesting. You’re not wrong, but this might be a bad example.

I was going to mention this. This squeaky metal door/gate noise is so overused in the XFiles that if I hear it in a movie today, I want to walk away. It’s been 30 years! Get a new door sound.
Similarly when they walk in the house but don’t shut the front door again, or open the fridge but never close it. I’m like waiting the whole scene to get back to that and missed the entire dialogue.

Until 10 June 2014 it was not possible to register a domain name directly under .uk (such as internet.uk); it was only possible as a third-level domain (such as internet.co.uk).

I have a moissonite ring, but it looks very much like a diamond. If you’re looking for something different, I would check antique stores or estate sales to look for a second hand gem. You can always have it put in a new setting if the ring is too dated for your tastes.

I’m interested to know if the number of students taking the test has remained the same. If that number is dropping, it may skew the scores and tell a different tale.
Great question! I’m a woman. Generally my riding pants don’t have pockets and when I wear jeans I can’t trust the shallow pockets to keep my phone secure. I don’t normally wear a jacket when riding.
Also, not that you mentioned this but I wanted to bring it up, I don’t like wearing headphones in traffic for safety. I have worn wireless earbuds, but they fell out too many times and I’d have to go back and search for them.
I’m only in the office once a week. Outside of the winter months, I ride my bike about 4.1 miles (6.6 km). It takes about 25 mins and I cut through a park and church parking lot. I do have to cross one of the busiest roads in my area, with the help of a light. That part is not pleasant. I recently got a phone mount, so now I can listen to the news on my commute as well. The worst part is getting to the office sweaty and having to change into nice office clothes in a bathroom stall. I am the only person who rides to work at my office.

I was visiting Leeds this summer and was at a werherspoons when some drunk kids at the next table over heard me and figured out I was American. He said he was aspiring to be an actor and wanted me to give my opinion on his American accent. He sounded like he was from California and he must have picked up all his accent tips from movies/TV.
