I use Brave Search on Firefox, but I mostly use the shortcuts it provides like !yt and !g. A few months back I mostly used it over google, but the search results more times than not have been worse in comparison for me.

You convinced me, I’ll watch it when I get the chance. Thanks!
Same, I always seen people talk about it but never seen it myself until 3 days ago. I only saw it because a video I wanted to watch mentioned it and it ended up being pretty great, it’s really well made.
I’ve been putting off watching Your Name for years at this point, is it as good as everyone online says it is?
I binge-watched Wonder Egg Priority on Saturday, on one hand it is charming as fuck with a great cast of characters while also being very empathetic with a range of difficult topics, on the other
it fell into the trap of thinking it needed some grandiose plot and undermined some of early established plot points by the end, it also just straight up gave some very disgusting reasoning for early unresolved stuff.
That being said, the trans representation in this anime is great and the good stuff, specially in the first half, is so good it’s probably gonna stick to me for a while.
I also watched Perfect Blue for the first time and that was also great, I’ve managed to go in without being spoiled anything and it was a ride, that’s for sure.
I don’t even know why I’m bothering to type this giving what you just said, but watch this:

It was not “young freedom-loving technology-savvy nerds”, it was literally a movement started by the alt-right that gathered enough public outrage it ruined people’s careers and did great damage overall. And if you really think “authoritarian feminists” or whatever exists and are a problem, you need to educate yourself on feminism, I really mean it.
How rich comming from someone that doesnt even understand how bullshit ancap is as an ideology.
Also, no one was claiming this piece of shit is a nazi or a fascist.
How about you iluminate us on how the fuck is someone that hates fascists an actual fascist?
VLC gave me trouble last year so I ended up using Haruna. The only thing I miss is downloading subtitles, but I can use VLC for that, everything else I think Haruna is near perfection.
Morality is shaped by your material conditions, that is, the society, culture, religion, thinkers etc. that comprise the place you were born and taught, calling the bourgeoisie immoral psychopaths doesn’t really do anything. The way to deal with this is to toss morality aside and see the relations of power for what they are, exploitation of a class by another, as have happened for basically the entirety of human history.
This claims for a solution then, ending the exploitation which necessitates ending the division of classes by preventing that a ruling class comes to existence. This is basically the premise to communism.
The problem with waiting for the current system do collapse is that Capitalism has shown to be much more resilient than expected. The contradictions of capital are intensifying still to this day and more and more people are noticing it, but it is to be expected that the capitalists will do anything they can to keep the machine working.
Trying to change the system from within doesn’t really work, like you said, the ruling class is not gonna let their power get taken way. One example of this is what happened on Chile with elected socialist president Salvador Allende 50 years ago.
A change this big in society doesn’t happen peacefully, it will need a full out revolution that will lead to “injuries”. It is unfortunate and me and, I think, everyone would like it to not be this way, but it is.

Last warning for what? lol
It’s not difficult to understand that saying “his autistic asshole” implies that being autistic is bad and is being used as a slur against him. I am autistic, fuck using this type of language.
And just in case you think I’m defending Elon, I’m a communist, fuck him.
What the fuck are you on about? I genuinely don’t follow. I explained twice now why what you said is problematic.
I just started pirating again in the last couple of months after basically not pirating for years. Now fuck corporations lol.
I pirate books for a few reasons, first is because knowledge should be free, second is because buying books gets expensive real quick and third because I can’t find everything I want to buy, sometimes pirating is the only way to get it. I like to have it physically when possible, tho.
Entertainment (Series, Anime, Cartoons, Movies) I pirate because I’m sick of being a second class citizen of nearly every streaming service just because I’m a Linux user. I can watch netflix at 1080p with an extension on Firefox, and Crunchyroll doesn’t limit me in any way, but everything else is 720p or lower. By pirating, I even have 4k available. Also, fuck streaming prices and fuck netflix for charging extra for sharing an account.
Software I don’t pirate because I prefer to use FOSS and in the case of games I don’t really wanna gamble if I’ll get a malware or not. Besides, I have a huge respect for the medium and I buy a game whenever I can.
For music Spotify and Youtube is too convenient, I only pay for Spotify, tho. Revanced for Youtube on mobile and ublock origin + sponsorblock + return youtube deslikes on desktop is great.
Besides all that, everyone should have access to knowledge and entertainment, it’s 100% justified for people to pirate, specially those that can’t afford it.
Also, have you ever noticed that you have felt that the value of a product has decreased just because you didn’t pay for it, thus you are less interested to read it? i.e., had you paid for the book, you would have more likely read that book.
When I used to pirate heavily a decade ago yeah, today not really, buying or not my ADHD is so bad I can’t get through easily anyway lol.
When you say “his autistic asshole”, you’re using autism as an insult against him, which has absolutely nothing to do with why he’s a piece of shit. It’s extremely insensitive to do that.
He can shove that X right up his autistic asshole.
Elon can go fuck himself, but don’t use autism as an insult, ever.
GE probably didn’t had the time to update or simply forgot, might be a good idea to ask on the Nobara channel in his Discord server
Thanks a lot, comrade!
Hey, I would like the reasources you mentioned if it’s not too much hassle for you.
Yep. You can have a look at ProtonDB to have an ideia of how well a game runs through Proton.
It’s not completely correct as some games marked with lower ratings will work flawlessly, and some with higher ratings will probably give you some trouble, but it’s a really useful resource.
Proton is basically Wine bundled with other software, like DXVK and VKD3D, to run windows games.
You have to enable it in the Configuration window inside of Steam if you haven’t done that yet. Enabling it is all you have to do and it will be used automatically.
Been playing The Binding of Isaac a lot for the last couple weeks. I’m approching 500 hours total and Tainted Lost is breaking my will nearly everyday 🙃. I want to finish Disco Elysium, but my ADHD is really bad lately, so I end only playing Isaac since it’s my confort game.
A few I can think of the top of my head:
Ludusavi - Extremely easy to use backup tool for savedata from games. Some games on Steam doesn’t have cloud backup, like Dark Souls 2 and 3, so it’s useful to have a backup if I ever need to format my pc.
Logseq - Obsidian-like app for note talking, it’s intimidating at first but it’s really great. I have been using it for notes, diary/journaling and for drafting ideas.
Haruna Media Player - This one I don’t think is available for Windows but if someone on Linux sees this, it’s the best video player I have tried. All it lacks for me is a way to download subtitles.
