So they should, child labour laws should apply to these kids just as any other business. The money earned from these videos need to be paid to the child. Even if it’s in a trust fund where the kid can take it out when they’re old enough and can make better decisions. Like child tv stars they need to only have to work a set amount of hours, no longer.

When I say this I’m talking about toy channels, I’m not talking about the mumfluencer channels. This kind of constant forceful filming of their childrens every moment should be stopped, kids need to have privacy, it’s known to be detrimental to their mental health when they’re constantly documented, and they are also far more likely to get bullied because of it.

I read the article, people who stand outside abortion clinics disuading people from getting abortions when they’re within the term time is the problem. It’s also possible to have invisible pregnancies. The article doesn’t contain enough to go into but you can’t deny that protesting and harassment outside of abortion clinics would scare people away from doing it legally. Which now it’s made harder.

These people care more about an unborn baby than they do about the baby after it’s born. Actually sad.

If every one of these anti-abortion assholes want to start taking the babies of families who cannot raise them then it wouldn’t be seen as just a disgustingly hypocritical movement. That is not the case. If you want to start forcing women to have babies they can’t care for but you don’t want to take care of the consequences of that, you are the problem.

Nobodies out here delivering fully sized aborted babies for shits and giggles. Pregnancies are painful and traumatic enough.

This is what actually fears me when it comes to diseases like the common flu and covid-19. There is no telling what internal damage these viruses have on the body. They often don’t find out years down the line.

When I want to be really cautious when I have it and around people who have it. It’s because I am actually scared of the potential damage it could have to me later down the line.

Not just with things like long COVID but also potentially things that could impact my health and wellbeing. Diabetes is only one potential example.

Mine was lucosade… The orange lucosade reminds me of nosebleeds. For some reason that’s what my mum thought would help me when I was sick and it was always lucosade when I had one… Then the orignal red lucosade I had when it was thundering and I couldn’t sleep because I was scared… memories man lol

Something rather cringe and obnoxious in hindsight was the over use of the word “ocd” It was quite common in media and in my circles for somebody to say “I’m so ocd” when referring to some perfectly normal thing they do like tidying bookcases and organising things.

I had an LG CRT and it was as old as me. Never died. It’s a real shame the planet is suffering because of greedy business practices. They put climate change on the consumer but more needs to be done to big corporations to punish this kind of behaviour.

Clicking the image isn’t the issue, scrolling by it will nab your Auth tokens. Resetting your password will reset the Auth tokens protecting your account. A sign out everywhere button would fix it but that isn’t an option yet. It really needs to be.

I used Firefox… So I definitely reset my password. Thing is I do not see an option for Lemmy where you can “sign out everywhere” which is the counter to Auth token stealing.

So I had to change it so that the Auth token would expire. Whilst I am not an admin I won’t take the chance. It could compromise other users and I do not want to take that risk.

That’s even worse, if Lemmy has a vulnerability like that it needs to get fixed ASAP… Also if that code actually works, I am going to have to secure my account.

I have seen multiple posts by these people during the attack. It is most certainly related to JS.

AITA quality went down hill because they removed the no-validation rule.

What you got was poor-faithed questions of people looking for validation about a situation where they clearly weren’t going to be the asshole.

Then as it grew in popularity appealing to the general populace it encouraged people to use it for the purpose of farming karma. They would post low effort, baits. You would get astroturfing or people subtly posting their fetishes.

The only community I miss is AmITheAngel where people just laughed at some of the more extreme examples of the above mentioned problems.
