If I had to call you something, it would be “embarrassingly thoughtless to others”.

Oh I agree with that completely, only babies wet their knickers at the first sign of properly gendering others.
The poster above me here is absolutely right, she shouldn’t be forced to use the wrong pronouns. It might make her uncomfortable.
Detroit: Become Human.
The demo gives you one level, playing as an android helper to the police, helping to solve a murder.
The full game really took me through the looking glass in terms of empathy. Can’t really say more without significant spoilers.
Wow, and I thought my car insurance of €170 was expensive this year!
They assume all windows users only have one hand free at all times
Belgiums looking good there!
It’s good to see that there’s a few other countries going for it too, I guess there’s large parts of the world where it’s going to be near impossible though due to distances and lack of electricity (until solar cars are cheap and plentiful, but we might have all perished by then, lol)
However Nissan do have R&D and manufacturing facilities in the UK, so the law would affect them directly … also, outside the EU has anyone else proposed a set date to end ICE car sales?
Yeah, the firefighters here are well supplied, it’s amazing that places like Canada and Australia don’t have this sorted out already … and don’t get me started on the lack of upkeep of electricity infrastructure causing fires in the US!
Brain fart, I was thinking of Easy Rider because it features the song Born to be Wild prominently!
Vanishing Point is pretty out-there, they cut a scene where the protagonist sleeps with an angel for example, but it does have a lot of metaphors in regards to freedom from oneself vs freedom from outside forces
Yes … but that was before I volunteered!
Wow, that’s a let down … I guess they were going for a contemporary look?
Yeah, I’m a volunteer firefighter in Catalonia, we only really do maintenance work or fill up gopher roles and damping down in the event of a serious fire … proper firefighting is in no way fun, people need to be paid for it (and you can’t just drag anyone in off the street to do it, lots of my fellow volunteers can’t hold a hose for long and would panic in an emergency … that’s not a criticism, it’s just how people are)
It’s always nice to see people finding positivity in art and wanting to share it :-)
For film deconstructions of the effects of the summer of love, how do you view Born to be Wild and Vanishing Point?
Quite possibly, along with another commenter who said ICE cars start to give problems at 70,000 miles.
Literally yesterday I was joking that my British friend’s 2005 Seat Leon is just about broken in since it passed 250,000 miles. Still runs like clockwork apparently.
I’m in Europe, we usually expect ICE cars to last 200,000km at least. My Dad’s Peugeot had over 500,000km on it when he sold it, his 1991 Toyota’s mileage is unknown since the Speedo cable broke over 10 years ago when it had 250,000km on it.
I got my little Clio cheaply because it needed the head gasket, fixing that took me one day and cost under 100€ to fix, and it’s still running smooth 3 years and 50,000km later.
To throw things away just because they need a little repair seems terribly wasteful to me.
Wow. Like, I can buy a cheap Chinese motorcycle and it’ll come with 3 years warranty, yet Buick can’t manage 4
And the warranty didn’t cover it?!
Like day 2 roadkill in the summer, right?
