I’m subbed to r/horrorlit and keep wondering if I’m taking crazy pills because it feels like 30% of the posts are some variation of “What’s the scariest/best horror book you’ve read?” They reword it or give it a slightly different spin but it’s essentially the same question over and over. And then of course the responses are always the same 40 books being mentioned repeatedly. I don’t understand why anyone who’s been on the sub for more than a month would keep upvoting the same question.
I made the transition to Linux Mint at the beginning of the year. I just booted into Windows the other day and saw that it had been six weeks since the last time.
Better than someone with no “real medical training.”
I bet some phlebotomists could be convinced.
I just upgraded from a 1070 to a 3060ti. The numbers definitely did not justify a 4060ti.
I’ve been trying to get my family name .com for years. I have no plans for it but neither does the current owner. They either paid for like 15 years in advance or they just keep reupping. I am not willing to make them an offer since I want it for the bare minimum.

And I’m on a 5a and don’t have unlimited.
Yep, and the article says that:
“The show’s cancellation is indicative of the kinds of challenges owners of platforms (like Apple, Amazon, Google, and others) face when they are producing content, too.”
You don’t have to “elevate” a person in order for them to be a leader. You just have to recognize that they have a certain organizational skill set that not everyone has. That skill set helps things get done. It’s just a job and they’re just people.
A lot of expensive business consulting (think PwC or Deloitte) exists just to tell organizations things the orgs already know.
Hard disagree on Andor. That’s the best show Disney Plus has created.
The 17 year old technology of blu ray is apparently too new fangled for my library. Almost all of their collection, including new acquisitions, is the 27 year old format of DVD.
I’d rather watch an HD blu ray than one of these crappy 4K streams provided by Netflix.
It’s reductive but not untrue.
Ah yes, the famous quote “nazi.”
