I had a huge scholarship of about 70% that I was incredibly proud of. I STILL came out with debt about 670% more than my father without any assistance at all. And that’s adjusted for inflation too! I’m ancient now so the price I paid is way cheaper than the poor bastards now. It’s insanity.

Some of them are actually smart and brilliant people and you can have excellent discussions with them. Others are just promoting some political agenda, and others are deep in their personal crisis and you can only listen to their hurt

Yeah I never go to theaters. I hadn’t heard anything about the crow but borderlands was pretty much unavoidable. I saw ads for that thing absolutely everywhere.

I absolutely love horror movies and have a long list of fantastic ones but not very many of them actually scared me. Most of them have been named already but two I didn’t see were The Babadook (2014) and surprisingly a Netflix movie called His House (2020) was actually awesome. One of my favorites in the last few years.

I can probably take care of the first two but my ugly ass can’t handle the 3rd

I love this. I always tell people trying to get into fitness and struggling something along these lines. Anything is better than nothing. Even just going to the gym and walking around the place and walking right out… Still better than doing nothing at all. Terry crews has an awesome quote kinda along these lines:

I tell people this a lot - go to the gym, and just sit there, and read a magazine, and then go home. And do this every day. Go to the gym, don’t even work out. Just GO. Because the habit of going to the gym is more important than the work out. Because it doesn’t matter what you do. You can have fun — but as long as you’re having fun, you continue to do it.

I could have missed some recent info drops but last I heard (and I know this is very weird but that seems on brand for RFK) he brought his wife and kids to meet Epstein somewhere to dig for fossils or some shit lol. So not nearly as bad as hanging out at the mansion of horrors on Epstein Island but he did bring his family and kids around that freak so idk if it’s that much better and who knows what actually went down too they still could have gotten into some terrible stuff wherever they were.

I tried but for some reason certain websites can’t play any videos on Firefox without buffering every like 5 or 10 seconds for a few seconds. It happens on 100% of videos on YouTube and like 50% of videos on any other website. It’s super annoying, so back to chrome I went and I guess I’ll stay until ublock bites the dust and I have to move.

That’s what I’ve always thought too. Like there’s being biased or leaning left or right or whatever… And then there’s Fox News. They are so far beyond that it’s seriously bordering on satire at this point. They don’t lean right, they fucking blasted off into outer space to the right on a rocket ship that’s still cruising off into the distance.

I mean, I think waaaaay more than anything people are just excited for literally anything other than a 9000 year old dude. That sucks in general but on top of that the only two flavors of wrinkly old dude we got was senile grandpa or pathological liar mega asshole. I think at this point people would get pretty hyped about a three legged goat running for president.

Right? I mean in a sense you do get more votes… Each child will grow up and have voting power. So if you have 7 children, congratulations! Your family will get rewarded with 7 additional votes… They get a equal stake, that stake isn’t just magically given to you for some reason.

Isn’t ranked choice like straight up banned in like 12 states or something? You’d have to flip each of those states first before even going down that road right?
