Who cares what a bunch of clowns did a couple of years ago in their own country? Not my problem.
But very telling that you had to dig deep.
I care about what happens in and around my home.

Haven’t seen them burn flags and smash public property in my town though, lately.
Might be but letting people incompatible with our shared values in has always been a bad idea, especially when you let them stay indefinitely.
If Germany had an influx of highly qualified workers and professionals I guarantee you there wouldn’t be as much discussion. Immigration comes in different types.
The accounts you shared did not contain any evidence, sadly.
How could I possibly accept this premise without having seen a shred of tangible evidence? That would be delusional.
Welp, still no source backing your initial claim that the ban was due to women’s matches outperforming men spectator-wise.
Still not a shred of evidence that the FA banned women’s football due to jealousy. Good on that fan-site for keeping their memory alive but they don’t even cite sources so …
What have I been making up? Perhaps read your own sources more critically.
It’s an illusion that the ban was motivated by jealousy. The only piece of evidence the article supplies is this:
“When I spoke to Alice Norris [one of the Dick, Kerr players of the time] and some of the other ladies they all said they thought the FA was just jealous because they were getting bigger crowds,”
Oral accounts of subjective judgments of affected players.
If there is better evidence, it’s not in the article. Feel free to provide it.
That logic is so laughable on its face. A couple charity matches drew a sizeable audience and raised money, so the butthurt FA decided to ban women games from being played on FA affiliated grounds …
Aside from this fantastic 53,000 people number only appearing in a player’s diary, the author couldn’t provide any evidence that the ban was due to the attention womens’ games were getting. Because there is no such evidence.
Of course, women’s football might possibly be bigger today if not for the bans, but going forth with unsubstantiated articles like that certainly doesn’t help.
If they don’t come down hard they will be punished at the urn.
All societal issues aside, it’s hard for me to subscribe to the general idea that women’s football is “silenced” or “marginalized” in any meaningful way. On the contrary, it’s propped up by clubs and federations. As a professional sport, it’s hardly sustainable in most places that are not the US.
In the Spanish women’s league’s last season, the median attendance was 922 people per game [1]. And this was in a “hype season” with a World Cup and accordingly strong sponsor engagement. It wouldn’t surprise me if we saw the numbers decline to the standards of the season before, with a median attendance of 532 [2].

Okay, let’s do it like China.
While yes, the feed-in tariffs dropped in price and capped eligible additions once 52GW of capacity was installed, this only shook the heavily propped-up domestic market. Had the German manufacturers produced anything better than the rest of the world they could have exported their stuff as German engineering did since forever. However, what they produced was nothing special, solar panels are pretty low-tech that can be produced in China for a fraction of the cost in the same quality so naturally they win out. All the money should have went to the development of high-end solutions that demand engineering and manufacturing prowess and cannot easily be copied, not focus and subsequently rely on shipping lots and lots of units. This is a game high-income countries will always lose in today’s globalized economy.
This is such an egregious misrepresentation. These industries were subsidised like crazy, brought cheap products to the market with a head start, and when subsidies ran out they couldn’t compete with the Chinese.
Of course Poland won’t leave free money on the table. But they will only stay as long as they can guarantee to stay culturally homogenous. On the contrary, it’s delusional to believe that a substantial number of Polish people would ever be fine with Warsaw having a demographic like Berlin or Hamburg.
They will fight off black folks and Muslims tooth and nail.
Talking to the English I know, their problems aren’t substantially different than ours (Germany). In any case, the UK being worse off is due to not being in the club. When there is no more club, a new institution shall emerge under a different premise.
The EU itself can and will break over this unless a long-term solution apt to keep social peace is found. All countries east of Germany, most prominently Poland and Hungary, will never take in African migrants. Simply won’t happen, they’d rather leave before being strong-armed into compliance. Leaving the EU is not even unthinkable for many Germans, anymore.
Since Libya has been thrown into absolute chaos and anarchy there seems to be no alternative but immediate and complete repatriation, as harsh as it sounds. At this rate, the EU as we know it won’t remain much longer.
Yeah perhaps you could have posted a better example than a years old story not pertinent to the issue at hand.
You draw your conclusions, I draw mine.
