Kidnapping someone isn’t nearly as easy as creating AI porn of them is… Dumb comparison.

They still do. Every single time I visit a google page.
Wolves can hardly be called dangerous. You have to make a number of very dumb decisions before a wolf might become a threat to you.
Hover
Pointless unintuitive feature that’s replaced with simple press and hold.
Iris scanner
Slow and unreliable compared to fingerprints. Anyone actually used it?
Air pressure/humidity sensor
Who needs these things? Weather apps work just fine. Rather use the space for battery.
IR blaster
Unless you’re looking to vandalize public tvs, just replace it with any number of wifi/bluetooth remotes.
Just saying there’s a reason features get the axe. Headphone jack is the only one I can sort of agree with, but I still rarely ever need one anymore. Bluetooth is just so much better.
And one thing all this debloating has led towards is larger battery capacity, which most older phones are sorely lacking.
To touch on this I think the sorting algorithms could do with some improvements, it shouldn’t be possible for one or two communities to completely take over the front page just because there’s a lot of activity on those communities.
I recall Reddit used to have a similar issue until they tightened it up.
For now just blocking the specific communities should do.
Samsung offers 5 years of support nowadays. The other big manufacturers tend to be lacking in this regard however.
Both Samsung and Apple offer 5+ years of software support nowadays. It seems unreasonable to expect much more IMO. Devices don’t stop working after no longer receiving updates, and there is also the option of jailbreaking/installing custom ROMs for those who really care.
Not sure how removable batteries make a phone more flimsy. The back might pop off when you drop it, sure, but isn’t that preferable to having it crack?
I find the streams on sportsurge to either be low quality or prone to connection problems. Someone recommended 1stream . eu to me and I haven’t had buffering issues yet.
Weird take. You’re still consuming the video. If you really wanted to consume less you’d get off youtube. Now you’re just saving them money.
For some chores, especially the heavy/sweaty kind, this can absolutely be true.
There are many subreddits that serve the same purpose as well. They either become their own space with slight differences between their respective communities and rules, or one grows much larger and eventually eats up the other. This is normal, give it time. The advantage that the seperation brings is that if any one instance does a reddit and is no longer usable there can always be another to replace it.
This is like saying it’s bad for reddit to have too many subreddits. It’s not.
To be honest I’m already growing weary of Discord, they’re adding lots of bloat and unpopular features recently. Infinite growth mentality kills apps like Discord.
