I’m going to use this next time I don’t tip
It’s neither lol, it’s the people themselves.
Blame choosing to drink alcohol or fly a low cost carrier, but like…really it’s you. Sorry.
Can we…stop yelling?
Race car drivers definitely don’t put both feet on the gas pedal though… Like, what?
Which you can learn about…in Maus. Ffs.
Okay, but didn’t that happen in an environment where ket was not legally available for people who may be able to benefit from it? Like…that shit already happens. And yeah it sucks.
Do you not feel he would have benefited from it being legal when he attempted to seek treatment? Might he have had less motivation to steal and suck his landlords dick if the illegal market didn’t make the drugs so cost prohibitive?
I think allowing people who abuse them to, well, abuse them is an acceptable byproduct of also helping meaningfully treated various other peoples depression.
It’s not one or the other.
They didn’t do a proper legalization like Canada though. Just half-assed it.
I’m ok with them harming some innocent people in the process of killing themselves. Greater good.
Yes, I always save my own copy of any content I wish to keep.
I already have that with digital media though. I don’t do subscriptions.
It means ‘hey I’m here’ in SE Asia and it works effectively for that. Loud, annoying…but it does accomplish something.
Yep. And I’d argue it’s an almost ethical responsibility for those aware of all this to preserve a media archive via piracy. Sort of like those monks that would repeatedly copy old scrolls before they would degrade or whatever.
Oh well that’s reasonable then /s
No, that doesn’t end until idiots stop agreeing to it when offered…which won’t happen any time soon.
Who gets to be the parents in this situation?
Completely agree and I was referring only to this specific instance.
I agree with all points, but isn’t the officer who stopped it from continuing the ‘good guy with a gun’ here?
It’s almost like it’s possible to have good guys with guns without letting every single person get guns by default.
Contrary to popular belief, violence actually is the solution in some situations.
Perhaps not this one and there could be an interesting discussion around that, but I fucking hate the idea that violence is never a solution when it absolutely is sometimes.
