Oh, thank you canada for pardoning nazis, then?

1.5 million?
100,000 years is the much more commonly reported number.
Still though, should interpret my “probably” as more of a “maybe”, haha
Yeah like Twitter had 7500+ employees before Elon went and fired 90% of them. Sure the site is worse off for it, but it still runs. Clearly most of that 90% were nonessential to the function of the company.
A lot of these tech companies are bloated like that
It does apply, technically, but yeah the effect is too small to see with the naked eye
A few nearby galaxies are visible, most notably Andromeda, but still redshift isn’t naked eye visible for these
In reality, it’s probably already happened! And the light just hasn’t reached us yet
Pretty insane to think about that
I don’t know how you can say that was anti-democratic, though.
That level of open and direct communication from the sitting president is very democratic. Say what you will about the content of that communication, but Twitter did not act undemocratically by allowing the president to speak freely…
I dunno, the only people applauding nazis lately seem to be the canadian parliament
When i tried it jerboa had all kinds of login issues, search didn’t always work great either
Otherwise is was a good app, so hopefully those things have improved
Boost for Lemmy just released, works great so far!
Perhaps biased because I’m so used to Boost for Reddit
Where are my data horders??
Yeah going forward I’m going to just recommend lemmy.world to people, straight to the point and avoid a lot of the confusion over what instance to pick
Yet the conspiracies persist
Youtube is simultaneously the worst and the absolute best
The best parts of youtube are simply unmatched online in terms of quality content
The only problem would be if two users with the same name are in one thread and you can’t tell them apart
Higher end S even does sub 2 second times
I mean Model 3 is also now literally the #1 bestselling car in the entire world
I never realized Mastodon was the same kind of system
For me honestly mostly the name. World. Seems like a default instance to me. What does ml even mean?
Seriously though, what has really changed? It’s always been a cesspool
