“ One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
I’ve seen it. It’s rubbish.
“ One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
Thank you that is tremendously helpful! I expect this post will help others that come along.
So confirming for your setup, you do need Remote Access enabled to use 100.x while home on your local network on wifi as well (and of course while away on cellular).
That’s how it seems to be for me, so I think I’m set up correctly. I don’t believe I’ve opened any unusual ports or anything like that.
Not quite sure I followed all that. I’ve disabled a specific white list for now. When I have access to another computer I will confirm I can’t connect unless I am running Tailscale with the appropriate IP addresses.
Thanks for the explanation. That part is clear, and I can access the server/Mac computer from my iPhone using the 100.x IP address. But if I’m on cellular I need to have Remote Access Settings enabled in order to connect.
Edit: Actually on Wifi too on the same local network I need remote access enabled if I’m using the 100.x IP addresses. Using the usual IP pre-Tailscale I don’t need remote access on wifi.
I should have bought it when the lifetime was like $40. I used to use it. Had some difficulties with the UI so moved on. Was hoping it would go away instead of being the best choice at 3 times the price. 😖

I came to the same conclusion, albeit a bit too late. I have all my regular immunizations and am no skeptic, but this one I now lump in the same category as the regular flu vaccine. Thanks but I’ll pass, but I understand others may choose for various valid reasons. This issue brings out the kooks though.
Yes, my first vaccine was Pfizer and second was Moderna, which caused heart issues. I went to a heart specialist and was diagnosed with pericarditis from the vaccine. It took awhile for symptoms to improve (pain, shortness of breath etc.). I feel lucky though.
An unusual amount of people had severe symptoms in our area after the Moderna vaccine. Healthy people in their 30s for the most part. Our electrician had a heart attack and a few people died. Needless to say I didn’t go for a third. We know a guy who technically died from it, but he was revived - they got his heart going.
I got teased like I think I still have PTSD. They just weren’t cool or too nerdy in my hometown. Stuff like Motley Crüe and Poison and Guns N’ Roses. That’s where it was at, which wasn’t my thing. I was into Yes and Tull and Crimson.
Rush. The band. Almost nobody in my high school liked them. In the 80s even.
Maybe someone should start a social media platform that only publishes the truth. Truth something. And it could be moderated by a really smart AI that is the final arbiter. It would know what’s true because it’s scraped the whole of human knowledge.
Startpage.com I am trying (again). I prefer the Google results without the privacy hit.
Harmony remote control. Even controls my air conditioner.
Garlic press is my second choice. 😎
That was the Royal Conservatory next door. https://www.kpmb.com/project/royal-conservatory-telus-centre-for-performance-and-learning/
Now that’s interesting. Always thought it didn’t make a whole lot of sense strictly speaking. Never realized he intended the “a”.
