I have been thinking more on this. Seems like a spare router with no Internet should suffice. Gives it a connection with no Internet so it can’t go anywhere and since it has a connection it shouldn’t be hunting for open networks

Is it possible to open the TV up and just break the wifi module?
My god Siege was good for the first few years. Intoxicatingly good multiplayer. Too bad they fucked it up trying to make it more CoD like. For example, I used to play with a completely hidden hud because it was so immersive and fun. Now it’s like rainbow six and Roblox had a baby and the weird game popped out. I can’t even hide my hud or crosshair any longer
Whatever job MBAs have
You can also set it up so biometrics can be used by apps but not to unlock the phone. That way it’s easy to get to your apps and such but trivially more difficult to unlock.
That only works if you’re rich
That makes some sense but it sounds like a problem for the companies to solve logistically and not just burden on the household buyer as a bandage.
I’ve never understood the “more people eating at home” argument for hight food prices. The same amount of food is being bought even if a restaurant is buying less. Like food magically doesn’t get eaten or needed more based on people eating at home or eating out. The food would just be going to the grocer instead the restaurant directly. Or am I misunderstanding this?
Forgot battletoads exists I guess
Nah. My mone is on a new and transformative way to fuck the end user over via a more scummy battle pass thing
It’s one of those things where I didn’t know until I was in my 30s and figured imagining things meant thinking about them and not actually seeing them.
If you don’t know what it’s like you can’t miss something, ya know? But there are experiments that are trying to give visualisations to aphantasia folk. I’m not sure I’d try it because then I would be missing something.
But, big pro: I can see absolute horrific stuff and I’ll never be able to reimagine it. Describe a vile, nasty car wreck? Can’t see it but I know it’s bad. It has weird benefits
Dude, I’m a 5 lol
Most EA and Ubisoft games I’ve played run fine on Deck. Just need to run the game in desktop mode first and then it boots in the Steam UI side of the OS just fine.
Pro-tip: get a folding phone and use biometrics happily. If the cops come for you. Snap it in half. /S
Something something options are the way forward something wallstreetbets
Yeah, was gonna say get a one of those rf blocking baggies or something
Justifying why Apple does it compared to Google doesn’t make it better. That’s like saying, “Well, they didn’t hit me THAT hard so it’s okay. The other guy would hit WAY harder.” Neither is okay
But my point is, if you want to play said game onlline, you have to give up your privacy in unknown ways, too. There’s no way to know what Denuvo or whatever is sending off to their 800 corporate friends or what they’re collecting while you play, either.
Lots of channels getting strikes are showing anbernic and steam decks and the like running the roms featuring Nintendo games being emulated on said device and not just a video capture of the game
