This is awesome, of course it’s xkdc. Thanks, now I can rest easy
Now I wonder how much bandwith do post offices have theoretically
You’re criticising the OP for low effort, but also the community for high interest. What are you trying to say really?
Why entertainment is a luxury, knowledge and education is basically what human civilization is built upon and should be free. Of course the reality is that people need money in the current system we live in and we have to reward those somehow who dedicates their time and efforts to education.
So I’ve arrived to a conundrum… Because I think morally it’s more acceptable to pirate educational content (imho), but I’m also more likely to pay the educators, as it is a very important job. Of course this does not apply to when someone just gatekeeps knowledge because of greed, it’s very similar to charity fraud in my book
Jonathan Blow said he might try his hand at creating an operating system (maybe after finishing his programming language Jai, and his gargantuan Sokoban game :)) Sadly it’s unrealistic another operating system will be created for the general public without massive funds.
Such hateful ideas are a symptom which can have wast variety of root cause. Your example is quite extreme and I agree it rightfully warrants hatred, but I’d argue that it’s all the more reason to not dismiss a person. We should seek connection with and understand these people and prevent destructive ideas from spreading IMHO, because there will be others who also won’t dismiss the person - only difference is that they might be receptive for hateful ideas. Sorry if I came across supporting these ideas, this is not the case.
Interesting find. I guess the target audience are VR arcades/rentals. Considering they probably return the investment in a couple dozen sessions it’s reasonable price (for a business).
I’m personally not going to hate on or dismiss a person based on political opinions or ideologies
Yes! To add to this, please let me invert the analog stick camera controls. Both axis! My biggest pet peeve is when a game let’s you invert the Y axis, but not the X… Why? You were so close dammit how much effort is adding the other really?
You can use without plugins as well, they are not a must. I’ve been using Obsidian for years just for it’s inter-connected markdown references. Kind of like a wiki, I’m just taking markdown notes and sometimes create a link to another related note. Also, good at handling attachments and embeds. I haven’t used anything else (maybe tags nowadays… But that’s it) Thing is, if you like markdown then you should give it a go.
Cultist Simulator somehow made me feel the same fanaticism as I assume a cultist would feel. It can be very addicting, chasing the endgame, driven by curiosity and desire for power. Not for everyone though.
You’re right, I did not even notice the persistent notification! What a unnecessarily annoying move. This deserved an early bird uninstall for me…
Thank you for the tip, I’ll sign up. I occasionally use the audio call functionality, but shouldn’t be an issue.
I’ve tried, and on the mobile site there’s no way to access Messenger. Only workaround is if you force the desktop version on messenger.com but it is very inconvenient.
Really interesting. I watch anime occasionally and I’ve been wondering about this. But suddenly the dramatic shoutouts between the good guys and the big bad makes a little bit more sense.
I’d be glad to hear more examples!
I’ve had the luck to meet some good Turkish people for a couple of days a few years back, I remember they showed me all kinds of music. I agree, it’s also a beautiful language.
BTW, én is magyar vagyok, igen :) Ugyan itt bojler eladó!
Finnish! Especially since Iistened to Jukio Kallio’s Kuvankaunis album. Listened to it many times.
Maybe it’s so alluring to me because it sounds close to hungarian, but at the same time more rythmic and melodic to me.
+1 for Mark of the Ninja. The gameplay is so polished, great art direction, and simple but satisfying. It is a staple Klei Entertainment game. Not to mention the good story, at least as I remember. It’s not a new game, released originally in 2012, however there’s a remastered version on Steam.
That’s subjective, depends on what you expect from a game. Personally I love them because I just like learning, mastering and beating a system. Others might value a narrative or social aspects of gaming more, and that’s allright.
