I’ve never even seen one in practical use in Dubai. The most I’ve seen are prototypes of lab designs.
Will these occur in the near-future?
I won’t need i, but thank you on behalf of the ones who do.
That’s good, since opinions can be posted without fear of mass down-voting.
That’s what I meant. Censorship is mostly impossible unless people act like an idiot and flock to 1 instance only, and even then, the instance can be easily substituted, since you don’t need to delete your account to leave the instance; just shift it to another instance.
That’s why it will fail. One can just repost the same thing via a different instance, which the group that wants to censor them may not have control of.
It happens to all of us. Additionally, assuming that you’ve come here recently, there’s not much data on it, and it being deleted will not be that much of a big deal.
Isn’t it de-centralized though?
Thankfully, I never had Twitter.

This completely contrasts the idea of decentralizing the Fediverse.
Finally, something for Apple. Thank you!
Oh my goodness.
So servers are sort of batteries for instances/websites, right?
It’s not about watching the drama unfold. It’s about watching the tiger die.
Imagine a movie with a powerful villain. Now, imagine that the movie just ends without us seeing the death scene. We just know about it due to the directors confirming it. Imagine Scar running away from the hyenas and the movie just ending with the text ‘Scar was killed by the hyenas later on.’ It would be mich better to see Scar getting killed, right?
That’s why I want to go on Reddit. Not for hopes for Reddit’s redemption, but to watch Reddit die in a blaze of stupidity.
I’ve heard it enough to know that it’s harmless, paranormal or not.
Is there anyway to check up on the protests without helping Reddit?
Is there a karma system?
Let’s hope it’s the former.
