This isn’t really a gotcha question. The answer is yes.
I have no issues with my politicians protecting people from being bombed. I’d love it if we’d also protect Ukraine with such vigor.
What I do have a problem with is when they provide the weaponry needed to commit genocidal actions and effectively encourage said usage by refusing to apply any sort of oversight.
Protecting Israel, or any other country from violence should be considered a good thing. Causing violence to Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, wherever, should not.
And also Walz doesn’t need to be wasting all of his allotted time fact checking an admitted liar. Not a ton of actual “News” in this article, but several of the referenced comments were funny/made good points like that.
Given the fact that your question has caused The Evil Song to get stuck in my head, Sorcerer, I feel you are obligated to erase “It’s a Small World” from my mind and from existence.
Please and thank you.
Omfg I feel you so hard on this with a few people, but am fortunate to not be in Texas.
“Never again,” my ass. Those types of people mean only “never again for me and mine.” Genocide is genocide is genocide, regardless of whether we’re the victim or not.
Fellow American Jew here. Very much agreed. Israel doesn’t represent us, even if it tries to say it does.
The only time I saw one was on a cheap dollar store plug. I immediately thought it was defective.
This is neat info!
I think it should continue but every person who presents said card should automatically get the harshest legal punishment possible for whatever their infraction was.
Would have been a warning? Guess what, that card now entitles you to a $500 ticket.
This guy read Foucault’s discussion about the panopticon and took it as instructions. Ugh.
Agreed. The life of a phone includes multiple cables (unless someone here knows some trick I don’t), so including OEM hardware that’s tested and recommended for the device is great and I wish it were still standard. Phone manufacturers not including parts that they still sell separately seems to have little to do with environmentalism/conservation and much to do with profits.
Yeah, this type of “reporting” is infuriating to me. Claiming the election is in the bag is just a shitty attempt to depress voter turnout.
I won’t trust that Trump has lost this election until Harris is sworn in as POTUS.
The Princess Bride is one of my favorite examples of this, especially because the “story within the story” is the main story, which is unusual.
For invisibility? All the dust.
The correct answer is people are fat cats. That commenter was so close.
The US has had no problem getting rid of certain politicians in other countries before. While I don’t generally condone the action, I can comfortably say I’d look the other way if he fell down the stairs. No atrocity, that.
I know it won’t happen, but I can dream.
I adore AOC. I look forward to when she runs for president, too.

Edit after reading:
This section of the article is basically the TLDR:
armed with a high-powered projector, booked themselves a room across the street from Trump Tower to display the message “Trump-Vance: Out For Themselves” — along with other slogans intended to rankle, rile, and otherwise irritate the candidate — across his 92-story building’s gleaming glass facade.
The slogans “Trump-Vance: ‘Weird as Hell,’” “Harris-Walz: Fighting for You,” and “Project 2025 HQ” are also in rotation.

Yeah, agreed. I don’t have a viable solution (I wish I controlled my various government representatives, but alas!), but even perfect solutions would be ruined by people. People are why we can’t have nice things. :(
(Really hoping this doesn’t post multiple times. Seems I’m having some internet issues.)
