It’s good and I like the service but the mobile app could use improvements to auto upload
Just tried and registrations are closed without an invite
That’s because they are encrypted. There’s a bridge
Organic maps is great. Google maps needs data to open even when you have offline maps stored lol
Don’t see the appeal of it. If you value your privacy use Mastodon or else you use Threads that has 130M users and not 3M.
Second notesnook. I really like the web interface too
I’ve only seen NBTV but interested to check out the others
I’ve been using it for a couple of days and good to finally have a non Google option
Bad take. The problem isn’t RCS, it’s Apple.
I use Privacy Browser: https://www.stoutner.com/privacy-browser-android/. It’s on Fdroid.
That was an interesting read. Didn’t know stores were doing that.
Glad I left. It can only get worse…
I’ve used Skiff since they launched. It’s decent but there’s definitely still missing features. I’ve considered moving my email but a while ago some emails weren’t coming through and that dissuaded me for now. The Pages and Calendar are good though and they just added monthly view.
I like total commander because it let’s me browse network storage
Interesting. I hope other phones start doing this too.
This was no garage startup. They were using the resources of the university
I’d also be interested in this but where you could toggle which feed you wanted. I don’t think personalization would be possible by user because that requires excessive tracking and would not be welcomed but maybe there’s another way to do it with boosts or other counts.
That’s some out of the box thinking
