I was a huge fan of his. My understanding is that he was an out of the closet man essentially married and living with another man but it was just agreed by all parties that to sell books it wouldn’t be discussed in the press.

Generally journalists are considered off limits by most. Most people have more to lose by fucking with them than they have to gain.

Which is why I think it likely these were people wanting a street reputation as fearless.

I really don’t know about that. It’s a $20,000 camera probably, but there is a good chance the rig itself is likely 10 years old, so the lens is likely the only thing they could make a few hundred off of, but that isn’t enough for a 3 man job.

I suspect robbing a journalist and taking their camera is to make their name known. They probably ditched the camera pretty close to immediately.

People wonder why starter homes havent existed on the market for 25 years and the answer is because nobody builds them, and when they do go up for sale, real estate agents are sending them the way of clients they already represent as property managers.

Why sell a house for 3% commission just once when you can sell it to somebody you are already partnered with and then make a 5% comission every month for the rest of your professional career while maybe only putting 15 hours per year worth of work into the unit?

Seeing that immigrants who are members of political extremist groups are barred from having permanent residence in the US, while registered spies are not. I don’t think you can or should blame immigrants for America being a playground for the rich where the citizens are just a servicing class.

Except this isnt a random person looking to get famous. This is a well respected journalist and editor represented by established publishing houses and a respected law firm.

I hate saying it because its an obvious statement, but he literally wrote the book on the subject.

If people are being interviewed specifically because they previously participated as a source in a book and they are provoked to give the same specific anecdotes they gave to the original author, just to get around paying a fee, then the original author’s work is still being adapted.

I think what probably happened is Apple refused to greenlight production with the author’s involvement. He might be the specific editor of gizmodo that Apple had swatted about 10 years ago, accusing gizmodo of espionage.

That is always possible, but in this case I suspect that isn’t so.

This author has independent research and can likely prove that nobody before them ever presented the story in the structure of a spy thriller.

The author can also prove the Tetris company had the galleys before publishing. A professional studio would have likely never allowed one of their screenwriters to ever read the book. I think this case.is going to get settled.

I am sure he can prove what in the film came from his book and what didn’t. The article specifies much of the book was written from his own sourcing.

If there is even 1 thing in the film that cant be sourced to a 2nd published article, than that proves his book was in part adapted.

My understanding is that a sponsor is generally expected to honor the timeline of the agreed upon conditions of the sponsorship unless a fireable offense on the part of the sponsee was comitted, upon which a review for possible deportation would be opened.

I also dont think.most people consider housing security as a burden.
