Very normal and rational reaction to Bibi’s hateful drivel. I prescribe you nothing, come back to my office when you’re in the all caps, three exclamation marks stage.
Frankly the whole article is just bizarrely defining metrics to fit the narrative.
Given the respective numbers of professional book writers and billionaires, I doubt it very much.
We really hadn’t a president visit our closest partner in 24 years? WTF is wrong with us
What? No. I was merely putting in perspective that nuclear energy is not a magic thing that will solve everything.
0.0018 km3 is an enormous volume for something so dangerous. And that doesn’t taken into account the waste created during extraction and transformation of nuclear fuel. Map of nuclear waste storage here https://reporterre.net/CARTE-EXCLUSIVE-Les-dechets-radioactifs-s-entassent-partout-en-France
And recycling is an abusive terminology for nuclear waste, since reusing waste creates again nuclear waste, waiting for “valorisation ultérieure” i.e. stored.

Yes and you didn’t bring up that oil is not clean either?
I am very well aware of the state of nuclear waste in France, and it’s not 96% recycled. This is absolutely laughable.
That is my point.
We hide it under the carpet and future generations will deal with it. This strategy has worked superbly for climate change.
Nuclear energy is not clean. Less CO2 intensive, maybe, but definitely not clean. It might be good in the short term but the long term looks grim regarding nuclear waste, among other issues.

I think I’ve got it in two!

Basic guide:
You see?
Safe storage of nuclear waste is a solved problem
Is it though? It is maybe for a couple of generations but after that? What happens in case of an earthquake? When the storage facility is not taken care of? When nuclear lobbies force the adoption of the solution?
And is the actual implementation of the solution aligned with the defined needs? The solution proposed in France is a shitshow for instance. Is the risk really taken seriously in the long term? Or is it another case of ‘future generations will take care of it?’ (See climate change)
In turbocapitalist circles, we prefer to describe this as a “strong economic incentive to become unshackled from your disabilities”, but I guess it’s a question of optimism
Well it’s called treacle down, not treacle up. Look it up sweetie! /s
Wow, the hubris is real. Ever heard of impostor’s syndrome? Because you obviously don’t suffer from it
