I mean, I don’t think that’s the way to go about it. Trains don’t take me to my family across the planet in 11 hours. I’d prefer to feel secure when flying there.

It’s still very impressive. The EEG she uses only reads general thoughts: e.g. thinking about pushing a boulder. She can only really do specific actions with that: there’s no level of analog control (how much should this move), it’s just a single action (fire a fireball). The brain chip is likely much higher fidelity and therefore can read much finer signals. All the credit goes to the researchers, of course, who’ve spent the last decade researching and fine tuning this technology.
IIRC they’re paralyzed from the shoulders down, so probably not.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8/9 Ultra. Publically made fun of Apple’s notch, then released their tablets with a notch a few months later. (Although tbf nowhere near as pronounced as Apple’s and mostly justified due to the extremely thin bezels).
I mean, it will be. The AI friend is always available, always knows what to say, never fights with you, and never messes up (ideally).
However, all those things are part of the human element: and at the end, you’re still talking to a computer. The AIs are just trying to please you. A person can actually love you, and that’s something else. And I’d take that over the perfect chatbot any day.
Honestly, this is why I’m hoping the Vsuon Pro doesn’t flop. It really feels like it could open the door to a new era. Of course, that’s still years away, but you’ve got to start somewhere. Better now than never.
Use an app? I use Voyager and it’s a really smooth experience, and I haven’t re-logged in since I first got it.

Not quite, no encryption is truly irreversible (that’s the point). We’ve built quantum computers and we know how they work. We found weaknesses in the prime number generation that powers most encryption, so we’ve built around that.
I don’t mean that…I mean how pretty much every product nowadays has some sort of new “groundbreaking AI features”. AI’s got tons of practical applications, but companies are really overblowing the whole thing.

I don’t know physics too well, but I’ll try to explain.
First of all, look out for pressure. Slamming your hand on a desk(lots of surface area) may not hurt much, but doing the same thing on a thumb tack(very low surface area) will suck, even though it’s the same amount of force. Pressure is just force/area (I’m probably oversimplifying).
So not only is there still 2000 pounds of force on the floor, it’s all concentrated on one(well, four) areas. Meaning that there’s a high chance the floor will break under those wheels. You’d actually have better luck just sliding the server across the floor.
Elons logic is also just stupid here. An elevator can’t lift a 1,000 pound box, but can it lift four 250 pound boxes? No! Even a child could answer that. The fact that he just assumed that adding four wheels magically distributed the weight is stupid. What if you had five wheels? Eleven? It’s not rocket science (which is quite ironic, given the company he owns).
So yeah. I’ve got no idea how he’s a billionaire. No fucking clue.
