Couldn’t an AI do the same?
And disclaimer, I’m not a fan of the current iteration of “AIs.” I’m just trying to understand why coding and testing would be an issue if done by some tool.

Hm, but isn’t usually the same developer who writes the code and the test?
Why would it be an issue if an AI does the same?
Why is this garbage in a science community?
Where’s the study? The experiments? The research?
Independence issue?
Haha yeah, I see how that could be entertaining.
But eh.
This is off-topic.
That’s a red herring. I don’t care about the original post because, like you pointed out, it’s about entertainment, not science.
Back to the original question I asked the parent poster, I’d like to know what value would bring two experienced astronauts debating a flat earth argument.
Um… yes?
For millennia.
This is nothing new.
The human race is not dying lol! Per evolutionary theory, it’s skiing quite well. Billions of us on Earth right now - and counting!
Why is this in a science community?
I want to read real science content here.
And who are these ping pong players?
Hopefully they didn’t just limit the population to silicon valley.
The honor is mine.
Bro. Nasa relied on Russian tech to bring supplies to astronauts and cosmonauts at the ISS for years.
I understand you don’t like Russia for political reasons. Neither do I. But science and space is a totally different thing.
Hate Elon, but don’t hate SpaceX. SpaceX is like an abused child.
Its* initial mission
I mean… I hate what the fucker is doing to Ukraine.
But Russians have their spot in history in terms of great space exploration advancements.
They had a space station up there first. Before everyone else. The MIR. So… I wouldn’t doubt on their capability to put their own space station again.
Wait. Isn’t this a Firefox extension that a lot of people like? Not me specifically, but I’m surprised by your comment having a lot of upvotes.
Edit: ah, it’s not upvotes, it’s downvotes lol!
You’re not wrong, but it’s not completely toast yet.
You’re right in that I might consider alternatives soon, though.
I did it with Phoenix back in the Communicator days (which eventually became Firefox.)
Years in the making is correct. Whether it’s 5 years or 5 billion years, that’s years in the making.
I mean, if you lose the game, you lose the game. You don’t say “hey you made me lose the game! Don’t do that!” Because that’s not how the game works. If you “make” someone lose the game, tough luck.
By the way, you lost game again :)
Ok! Will do.
