up to 60 km/h, only on Autobahn
Huh, how does that go together? Aren’t you supposed to go at least 80 or something on an autobahn?

It does not give context. They were deported by Belgium.
Is any of that relevant or the family’s fault?
This is the best FOSS keyboard that’s under active maintenance.
I assume that might be a reference to FlorisBoard? Because development on that one as actually picked up again, but that’s only visible so far if you’re using the Beta version. They’re opreparing for a new full release.
A lot of the mainstream apps definitely have privacy issues. They often sell data about their users menstrual cycles which can theoretically be bought by anti-abortion activists/authorities on the free market to track whether someone might be pregnant.
StreetComplete and its expert editions are definitely my favourite way to contribute to OpenStreetMaps on mobile. There’s also Vespucci which allows you to do more complex stuff like add paths and shape, but the UI isn’t super great imo. Organic Maps which I use for navigation actually allows you to edit and contribute quite a bit.
Which is at least less than all the other big platforms are taking.
Or maybe the original post was simply muted for a different reason.
I thought China denied that there are any Chinese “police” stations in Europe?
They deny all sorts of things:

“They only “earn” that monopoly because ostensibly they have been authorized democratically by the people.”
Well, that might be the social framework fir a democracy. But we are talking about Hungary here.
The law does make sense, if you put it into practice. In practice the dry weight amounts will probably just be checked on the street. Checking your home will require a warrant which isn’t easy to come by, so they’re not gonna bother about cases where it might be three or four plants or this or that many grams.
Well, who’s gonna pay for your medical care when you inevitably develop drug problems/health issues. So in a socialized healthcare system, you are harming others with it.
(And not offering treatment or making the patient pay for it which they often won’t be able to, would be very inhumane imo)
There’s also been huge waves of spam account attacks on Mastodon recently.
There’s a convention for websites to use robot.txt files that prescribe whether bots should be allowed to access the site. But it’s just that, a convention which malicious actors don’t need to feel beholden to. Depending on the legal framework, you could also just threaten to sue anyone using one’s data for AI without permission, but that’s probably not feasible for the average lemmy server operator.
you can’t just blame other countries problems on us
You can, if they happened to be caused by us. Which they are. From propping up authoritarian leaders for cheap resources to being main contributers to the climate crisis
Also how is Germany not deporting undesireable people already? There are processes for this in play already. What part of it exactly do you think is lacking? Most people who are for more deportations have no idea how the process works, what the criteria or problems with it are at all. All they know is that they want more. Doesn’t matter if it actually solves any problems or not.
(Turns out you can’t really deport more people faster without undermining basic principles of the rule of law or because the states to deport to are not willing to cooperate in the first place (and why would they?))
Which is just another reason why the aversion to immigration on display by such large parts of EU society at the moment is just so freaking dumb and counterproductive.
An example for which part?
Well that kinda depends on whether longer sentences are more or less likely to make someone recommit crimes. If it’s the former you might just end up with more people committing crimes.
There’s also Flare fwiw:
