They definitely think they’re the good guys, both the men and women. Not many people knowingly choose to be villains. They are convinced that their ideals are just and true, and their opponents are godless child-murderers and rapists.

I didn’t exactly need the ending explained, but Everything Everywhere All At Once has so much going on that I got really hyper focused on looking up commentary for everything in the movie. There were a lot of things I missed so I found it really valuable beyond just wanting to deep dive every little detail haha.
Surprisingly, after all the hype of Interstellar being incredibly confusing, I felt like I missed something because it seemed fairly straightforward (not the plot, which was obviously convoluted, just that I understood the ending). Then I looked up explanations of the ending and they fit my interpretation so that was a bit anticlimactic lol

For users, I block bots, assholes that post/comment any of the hateful -isms more than once, and spammers. I also wonder how many people have blocked me! I’m curious what someone could have been dreading so much coming from Reddit that they found in your posts. Maybe you’re making posts in comms I’ve blocked so I can’t see them, but a quick browse of your posts shows nothing offensive, and many of your posts drive healthy engagement. I was worried Lemmy would be the next Voat, luckily haven’t seen much of it here past the initial Reddit wave.
I also have hundreds of blocked communities (and hundreds more blocked users), but I can’t see the number. My criteria are similar to yours, though I also block all politics/news, and I don’t block meme/image/video comms. I only block country specific comms if they are in another language or if they post way too often. I’m here to have fun and maybe learn some cool science stuff.

I love valerian root with some skullcap to help me sleep! When I first opened a box with valerian root, I was put off because it smelled like feet. Now it smells like any other plant to me, but I get a kick out of sharing the smell with someone who has never experienced it before. The recoil and look of disgust is always funny.

I’ve never experienced the toilet auto flushing just from me leaning over. Maybe I’m just lucky that all the toilets I’ve used have been properly calibrated for use, and yours haven’t for some reason.
I lean to one side, which lifts one butt cheek enough to reach my ass. Keeps the butt cheeks spread apart. I’ve never had one flush before I stood up.
