Not having a quick step to go to your subscribed magazines.
I know you can via settings but honestly on a mobile it’s a mission.
No apps yet support kbin, no way to change post layouts.
All of that said, what works for you works and the beauty of the fediverse is the choice to be able to choose the source and still see everything.
I was loving liftoff until the last update, something about the UI is just off for me since the update, I can’t fully out my finger on it. Clearly a personal issue and not an app issue.
But In answer to the question I’m back using Jerboa
Pixel 7
Great value for money, excellent camera, no bloatware and great battery life for my use case.
Best Android phone I’ve owned to date.
This is why I also have AllDebrid as backup
We are in the process of moving website servers from a datacenter to another to have better redundancy in the future, service will be partially available for one or two hours, sorry for the inconvenience
I was just relying on keychain whilst on iOS and made me realise after migration I needed something that was platform agnostic.
Now I don’t need to worry about forgetting passwords anymore
Only problem is now I don’t know any of my passwords, apart from master password for BW. 🤣
Agreed, I’ve been using it for about 6 years after moving from iOS to Android and its great, fits all the points required by OP.
Bearing in mind the community you’re posting in I wouldn’t think they were suggesting the big streaming companies.
Kodi + (insertname)debrid or stremio+ (insertname)debrid … either will let you stream torrents in much better quality than the streaming sites and no need to horde.
Also, i’m fairly sure there’s some torrent clients that allow streaming of the torrent file, I’m not sure if they’re still around but I think Vuze was one, I don’t used desktops any more just mobile/tablet so my knowledge might now be out of date.
To be honest I also think the same question in regards for GDPR and UK inbound legislation regarding porn and how those might affect the fediverse in general.
expect a return on their investment and they have the right to pressure spez to seek aggressive monetization of the platform.
Whilst I agree that investors have everybright to expect a return on investment I think this could have been resolved and a number of ways which didn’t include alienating a large proportion of the user base.
If they wanted an echo chamber they would have defederated from all other instances.
I’m sure they have a reason, whether it’s the correct decision is another matter.
I’ve been using a variety of LibreTube and revanced on my phone and tablet as I only have mobile devices.
For the first time I opened a link which went to the native app, OMG it is unusable with ads.
If that’s the expected way of using YouTube then I’m out, especially as I live in a location where I can’t pay for Premium even if I wanted to
For what it’s worth, I posted once on Reddit in the last year (and that was related to Sync shutting down) where as I’ve posted 4 times so far here.
I’m generally a lurker but perhaps the newness of it makes me feel that my posts won’t be drowned out so it makes it more worthwhile taking the effort.
Whilst enlightening, it’s kinda also useless. Let’s be honest the majority of endusers use a particular app, in the main, because its most likely what everyone else in their friend group uses.
In my case WhatsApp, I’d struggle to get all my friends and family to change at this point.
Would be nice if there was a way block a whole instance.
I know it’s restriction on the platform side but maybe some instance filtering could be built into the app which could work then same way effectivley blocking visibility of a whole instance.
Just a thought and I don’t know how many users would want/use it.
I know how to do it on mobile ,not sure if it’s the same on desktop.
Long press on the image and choose “Open in new tab”
One done copy the new tabs URL, it should end in .jpg and copy to the post URL in Lemmy.
