I miss this phone along with the M7.
I’m a millennial and the last consoles I’ve owned were the PS3 and Wii.
Is this why some people don’t mind the vivid calibration on Samsung phones?
Agreed! I’m really appreciative of folks putting this kind of work into Lemmy.

I honestly don’t know how people can tolerate it.
The lack of full size HDMI is still pretty disappointing.
Both have been must-haves for me over the past number of years. It’s nice being able to drop the phone onto a charging stand at the desk or in the car. Also nice being able to rinse the phone off or use in a bath/shower without worry.
Same here. Wireless charging kept my Galaxy Note 8 going long past its USB port failing, along with my mom’s LG G7.

More about showing off neat CT scans. I wouldn’t read too much into it given the sample of cables looked at. I personally had no idea industrial CT scanning was a thing!
Don’t jinx it! 😅
No experience with this setup myself, but you may want to try !askandroid@lemdro.id.
Love Shizuku. I just dislike that I need to re-enable wireless ADB every reboot.
It’s a surprisingly capable tool. I’m still surprised we don’t have a system-level Tasker or Shortcuts tool.
The problem is when those features don’t make it to other devices.
Samsung’s built-in routines function is great for automating things like wifi on/off. Can Tasker no longer do this?
This has been my feeling lately. The updates aren’t exciting and all of the goodies are tucked away as Pixel exclusives or Google-specific services (e.g., Google Photos).
Thanks for posting! I’m looking forward to the Gemini announcements.
