I’m not personally familiar with Android antivirus tools. I’d imagine your best bet is to just not install APKs from random unverified sources.
Thanks! I actually meant to remove the section altogether since folks likely have their preferred tools by now.
Interesting. How so?
Thanks for sharing!
Heya, thanks for this! I’ve pinned it to the community.
Interesting. Do you happen to know where it gets its traffic data from? I haven’t yet personally found anything nearly as useful as Waze.
It depends on who you’re asking. The AI branding appeals to a lot of the more casual users I know, but it ultimately comes down to the actual functionality being added. It’s the first time in a long time that I’ve been interested in following smartphone developments. What our devices can actually do has been rather stagnant IMO.
I’m most interested in seeing what the VR variant will be like.
Thanks for posting! I’m looking forward to the Gemini announcements.
I miss this phone along with the M7.
I’m a millennial and the last consoles I’ve owned were the PS3 and Wii.
Is this why some people don’t mind the vivid calibration on Samsung phones?
Agreed! I’m really appreciative of folks putting this kind of work into Lemmy.

I hadn’t heard of Pebble the Twitter competitor. It just makes me miss the Pebble watches.
I honestly don’t know how people can tolerate it.
The lack of full size HDMI is still pretty disappointing.
Both have been must-haves for me over the past number of years. It’s nice being able to drop the phone onto a charging stand at the desk or in the car. Also nice being able to rinse the phone off or use in a bath/shower without worry.
Same here. Wireless charging kept my Galaxy Note 8 going long past its USB port failing, along with my mom’s LG G7.
I can’t tell whether you’re just referring to Chrome 🙂.
