Here’s the thing…
I’m fairly certain that at least most of us that post at least semi regularly in tenforward recognize each other. There’s a few doing a lot. My posts have dropped off lately because of creative burnout, though so I’m not around as much.
New bloatware installs with every update. I hate it.
This ties into the comment I was going to make separately. For context, my dad recently passed. First father’s day without him. My mom asked to watch a movie that meant something to the both of them because they saw it together in a drive in on release and it was very memorable because the technology and techniques used were fascinating at the time. She complained that it wasn’t on Disney+ or anywhere.
You may have guessed it, but she requested Song of the South. One serious moral quandary later, I got it ready for her to watch.
Tomorrow is gonna be rough, but at least my sailing might bring some good memories for her.

No. Megaton is a blight on the scenic view from that tower, not to mention that the longer it exists, the higher the threat is to the people around it.
They were working around it by using personal API keys iirc.
This game desperately needs and deserves a full Neverwinter Nights style toolkit. I hope we get there one day.
Commenting to update: With great sadness, I tried undoing my multimonitor setup and going back to just the laptop display, This worked flawlessly! I don’t know if if the system wasn’t respecting my configs, the hardware somehow healed itself, or what. For now, I’m back in pure laptop mode (which sucks, because 22" vs 15" is a giant downgrade). However, it’s all working…
Thanks for this. I just tested with a VPN active and had the same issue. It may be the poor overworked adapter. I am going to get a cheap USB adapter and see if it will hold up.With VPN on and losing DNS, it has to be the adapter finally giving up the ghost =/
I’ve never had the drive to beat any of the Wizardry games. They are simply too difficult for this filthy casual.

So happy I moved to SearXNG right now.
Some crokinole action and Nanaimo bars.
I only skimmed the article, but it didn’t seem to define what is meant by “AI” and that trend frustrates me to no end.
Based on the size of a typical baby, there’s at least 300 sqft in there.
If it were me that designed this, I would license out the design for manufacturers to use in their production models instead of making some kind of attachment that is unlikely to work on all models. That seems much more likely to achieve the goal of reducing noise from leaf blowers long term. Get like 3 manufacturers on board that could even charge a premium, and you have reduced the noise potentially forever while still making a tidy profit.
Really interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing.
I hadn’t heard of this before, and the concept is really intriguing. Thanks for this. I’ll check it out.
I am not in the UK, but wound up biting the bullet and using QubesOS for my business machine. It’s kind of like a more straightforward to use everyday set of VMs. I have the windows qube there for running CAD/CAM and the sadly sometimes necessary Chrome install. I know this isn’t an ideal solution, but it is the best that I personally have been able to come up with without going through the headache of dual booting, especially when dealing with either govt stuff, need Chrome for crappy websites my clients sometimes force me to use, or actually needing proprietary software that I have licensed for my business (MasterCam in my case).
