It’s interesting, but I would argue that suffering would be more importsnt than killing. And maybe if there was a way to measure a “suffering/price ratio” it would be definitely what I would look at before spending my money on something.

You need to type ‘!’, then it will prompt you with a nice search of all the communities on the Fediverse and when you choose it, it will automatically create a markdown link with the community.

Bound question on this subject, does someone know of any Lemmy client that auto plays embedded videos?

Not sure what you mean by that, but yes markdown works just the same here than how it did in reddit.

Okay this is what I’m talking about, embedded video that can directly play even if isn’t directly hosted on lemmy. So I guess the way to go is having WEBM content and linking directly to the file from the post so that supported clients are able to show an embedded video. Thanks, I’ll try this out

Interesting indeed. I already saw some of this coming up over android@lemmy.world which has been locked in order to send their userbase to another instance. So yeah, interesting indeed.
