I only know this because there’s a mission in Watch Dogs Legion that’s inside it.
For Monado on Windows iirc the current state is that it works but not with real hardware (which is usually well supported officially anyway) due to lack of drivers. Now if it becomes the only platform to keep supporting WMR the developer incentive is definitely there.
As someone coming from Photoshop it’s really hard to get into Gimp with it missing the layer effects you’d expect, which you all have in Krita.
I’ve had this error upon random reboots after upgrading to Linux 6.8 on 5950x. Went back to 6.7.9 and hasn’t happened again since. What version are you on? Would be interesting to know.
I’m so excited for this, these classic car additions reduce a lot of staleness I’ve felt with the game.
Seems like it would’ve been a good idea to put a placeholder script with the same name that does nothing for compatibility sake, especially for a distro like this.
Although I found out about joystickwake through this, never expected there to be a solution for this issue I’ve had occasionally!
That’s funny that you mention hardware, cause in Germany you pay a set fee for each device (13.19€ for a computer, 6.25€ for a phone) on purchase since it could be used to create copies of media.
I’m just getting my money’s worth, officer.
Arch is focused on being cutting-edge and lightweight which happens to be perfect for gaming performance in most cases but that’s all.
I’m not particularly happy with the situation of PWAs on Android. Firefox, my browser of choice, is like 10 years behind in their implementation.
The only browser that integrates them nicely as a native app is the official Chrome browser (privacy nightmare) which does this by generating an APK on google servers and installing it (privacy nightmare^(2)).
Hopefully there will be a local solution for this in a FOSS privacy-respecting browser eventually.
The new icon is so cute!

Hmm I wonder which words CW consists of.
LibreTube, a Piped client, should be added to the Android section. Allows logging into your Piped account to sync your subs, includes SponsorBlock/DeArrow/RYD, and has one of the best interfaces I’ve seen of any YouTube app (including the official one).
Minecraft, specifically Beta 1.7.3.
Being informed about war? Sure, but
It has come to our attention that deeply disturbing videos, including footage of hostages, may be spread across social media in the near future.
This is not something you want to be exposed to, especially in your developmental years. As someone who grew up with unfiltered internet access looking at these things, take this seriously and protect your children.
They’ve adopted this return policy only after being sued by the Australian ACCC.
The mouse feels more sluggish when using the wireless dongle compared to it being wired.
You have to set the profile for both wired and wireless mode since they’re different USB IDs. Dealt with the same thing on the same mouse. Same thing with Solaar if you use it to set the polling rate.
It is dev dependent, but I don’t agree with “devs can implement it just as easily” at all. One only requires using a built-in API to create notification channels (which you have to call anyway), the other requires designing and programming your own page for it.
I bought a used magic trackpad 1 to use on Linux. It works quite well out of the box including multi touch capabilities but sometimes if you do a lot of movement in one go it will lag behind. The newer ones can be used wired and use higher Bluetooth versions so that’s hopefully not an issue.
One noticeable limitation for all is that they run at 90 Hz which is noticeable on a 144 Hz screen, but there aren’t really alternatives as far as I could find.
Yep,
waydroid init -s GAPPS
. But it will complain when first trying to sign in with Google so you’ll have to authorize the device.
