The English speaking Wikipedia community is not the ICJ.

I don’t see how your suggestion solves the problem at all… Maybe, that’s a start…
Putin made clear multiple times that we wants the whole Ukraine. Serious question to you: How do we pretend this from happening?
The only way for a stable peace that I can imagine is: The remaining area of Ukraine gets full protection by NATO. Otherwise, Putin will try it again.
Alright, feel free to tell us how to achieve a permanent peace there.
Hint: In 2014, we got a peace agreement in Ukraine and now, we have war. So, what should we do differently this time? How can we make sure that Putler doesn’t just fill up the army for 3 years in a “peace” phase and start the next attack afterwards??
Trump sees that as an advantage… Putin thinks and plans for him for free… All the other people want $$$ for that.
An average politician does what brings the best result during the next 4 year in power.
Trump will do what he thinks is best for the next week, mesassured only in $.
That’s the wrong direction…
So, foreigners like me with US shares can now benefit from the fact that the US population voted for self-exploitation… Thanks, I guess… Would have prefered Kamala anyway…
This is all a huge war by proxy.
The north koreas will sacrifice all the Russians!!!111
If the one you oppose is classified as far right and you print facts about them or quotes in your newspaper, it’s still something different than endorsing a specific party or person, IMO…
We also had good and bad ads for some parties, but when it comes to only what the writers think, endorsing a specific party is just not happening like in the USA…
Opposing soneone is not unusual in Germany. Supporting one person or party is what does not happen here.
I’m not a fan of the orange one… Just telling about the German view on this…
On the one hand, I know that the newspaper had done this for decades and stopped now…
On the other hand: If a big German newspaper recommended voting a specific person, this would be a huge scandal…
The Invidious issues on public instances haven’t gone away in 1-2 months)…
But you can still self host it locally.
Can confirm it. Self-hosting Invidious on my laptop is working.
Nr 2 and 3 of the English version describe a change in the history section and should therefore stay there. Otherwise, you remove relevant information.
IMO, Nr. 2 and 3 are not redundant at all.
I Germany, I hear this often, but it’s also often mentioned that the death numbers reported by them were usually reliable.
Sad… Did not see the survey when it was running…
“What is your gender?”
82 females, 3300 males…
Ah guys, where are the females?
Black and white, you know… Maybe, there is a grey way between loving a country and its total destruction…
The “innovative” idea to destroy that country is probably 100 years old, has never been successful and is always a very good attempt to get as many people as possible killed over there… Maybe, if something fails every time over 100 years, it’s time to try out something new. 😐
It was on a different account. I switched to an instance with downvotes disabled, because the experience on Lemmy started to feel too much like Reddit…
But trust me: It did not even remotly justify posting burning flags of a country with mods supporting that. Actually, I’m surprised… I’d expect that this is still normal on hexbear. Can’t imagine, they changed that much in just 6 months…
My instance has downvotes disabled. Only upvotes matter. So, at least, I don’t see destructive voting…
And as long, as I don’t post in their communities, they can’t silence me and have to deal with my view differently than just by removing it…
And the German Wikipedia community sees it differently (differently = waiting for an official decision) and does not allow an article called “Gaza Genozid” until now…
That could also be the argument for calling the article “Genocide accusations” and waiting for the ICJ…
Compared to the previous 2 quotes, this is actually a fact: There are accusations.
PS: Just to make it clear: I am not the ICJ either. And I think, it’s fine to share it as an opinion (“I think, there is a genocide happening”), but referencing it as a fact (“The genocide is getting worse”) before it is actually classified as one by the people who are responsible to do so, is just not useful at all. I know, that especially people from the USA see this differently.
