Never trust a rant from a person that can’t install Windows.
I loved the social distancing aspect of the pandemic.
There’s some people that can’t come up with positive references, even when cherrypicked. I’d probably fall into that group.
I hope you update the post with any info you find.
That works in both directions. Don’t assume that the few that didn’t return are the ones that would have saved Reddit via incredible content.
I never thought of that aspect as I’ve never used them. My subscription list is so long, I don’t have the time to watch the videos I’m subbed to, much less any bonus content. I wonder how many people use that feature.
I don’t think anything is killing the platform as the longstanding ones seem pretty durable. Reddit did just fine throughout the API exodus and Twitter has somehow managed to survive Musk’s repeated and constant attempts to kill it. There will be enough viewers on youtube that will take whatever Google decides to throw at them. Don’t ask me why but a large portion of the viewers( redditors and tweeters, etc) just don’t care enough to make a change.
Freetube adopter as well. The experience is actually an improvement over using the yt site. I wish I had done it earlier.
I’m not saying this sarcastically but with honest confusion, is the warning from an entity or group that hasn’t spent a lot of time on the internet? I’m not young by any stretch of the imagination and people have had very easy, almost accidental access to horrific imagery and media since the advent of the internet. Fake titled gore on Napster, image boards, etc.
I will say the quality/detail of the content has gotten disturbingly more clear. That part makes it more disturbing to me. The Ukraine community has a shocking amount of drone video where it’s like a front row seat to the last seconds of someone’s life.
Any politics and porn servers or communities get blocked.

“Later, bitches!”
Lol, k.
At the dealership last month, I was looking at a used truck on the lot and looked at the window sticker on the new truck next to it. $87,000. For a Chevrolet pickup truck. How many people can afford almost 6 figures for something that’s supposed to haul stuff?
It seems like the disconnect between the sellers and buyers is growing and I don’t think it can continue for much longer without some kind of crash.
On the desktop, I use Ublock Origin and FB Purity.
On my phone, I use Hermit to containerize FB Mobile and that’s routed through my app and web adblocker, Adguard. I literally haven’t seen an FB ad in years with this setup. FBP also allows you to turn off pretty much every annoyance on the site(you may know, if you like this then, people who do this do…)
I haven’t paid a dime and have had ad-free FB for years.
Had the child been armed, this tragedy would have never occurred. 'Murica!
I can’t say I don’t use Google as I own an unrooted pixel on the Fi network but I’ve done what I’m able to lessen the information given to them by stopping the use of the search engine, browser and sandboxing any Google pages in my FF browser. It started bothering me how much I was relying on one company for nearly everything online.
My next phone will likely be rooted and running a different OS.
I don’t know of them and I’ve used it for as long as it’s been available.
I think it will be very easy to find a host that federated from them, making it easy to mitigate the damage.
