It’s one of the messier options but it still works well. The switches in my logitech g604 have been bounce free for over a year now after hosing then down with WD-40. That’s longer than any of the warranty replacement mice lasted.

Deoxit leaves a residue, too, that will stain clothes. That residue is what helps the contacts from oxidizing again in the future.

  • Really depends on the game/story and if I like the characters. For example playing Fallout 4 as a female protagonist felt out of place, like it was just a mod that someone hacked in. But on the other side Cyberpunk 2077’s male character annoyed me enough that I restarted as female V. And then there’s games like Skyrim where the only difference I notice is the grunts you make in combat.

  • I leash/harness train mine. It’s nice to be able to mostly walk them around outside like dogs. Also I train them to ride on my shoulders for transportation. That way when they get too lazy to walk back to the house or I need to carry them around for any other reason I can just plop them on my shoulders and they will ride there, keeping my hands free. My neighbors probably think I’m crazy.

    u/VegaLyrae’s suggestions are all excellent.
