wondering if i should say this but at one point i pirated so much that i have to use will power to stop watching stuff.
i literally watched this because of this comment. great movie.
i saw a comment on hackernews about how chatgpt and LLMs really caused reddit’s recent changes and conflicts. and that made sense to a degree. the regular user is perpetually online and i guess big tech is all about grabbing users’ limited attention at this point.
i have been using saidit becasue i said something edgy and got shadowbanned on one of my reddit accounts a while back. sadly saidit never grew to be as big as lemmy. but it’s still good to see decentralized platform rise again. someone mentioned aaron schwarz in a recent discussion on reddit perhaps under a post concerning reddit’s recent policy changes and baclashes, and i am glad to see aaron’s decentralization idea realizing here on lemmy.
ad for lgbt and lefty people then. they have decided their customer base.
edit: i’m not anti-lgbt just making an observation here.
hopefully the cost of running it is not so much and all users chip in to a degree to keep it going.
