Doesn’t matter to me, they think I live in a third world communist hell hole so they won’t move where I live anyway. Never thought I would say this but… thank you Fox News!

….or else? Santa’s gonna leave a lump of coal?
“Sorry, son, these weapons need to go to a genocidal state that has already received hundreds of billions to take out what are essentially innocent people in camps”
“JuST uSe WinDow5!” Is probably the least helpful advice. Windows is garbage.
Reasons I haven’t owned a windows device in over a decade. I’ll pay the premium for Mac to not have to deal with this bull shit. Also Mac has been killing it in the user privacy game.
12345? That’s the combination to my luggage
True, I wonder how many of these admin creds were on internal wikis or something like user: admin password: admin123
In an advisory of its own, Cisco said the threat actors are compromising the devices after acquiring administrative credentials and that there’s no indication they are exploiting vulnerabilities.
If they aren’t exploiting vulnerabilities (and this is all because of mishandling of admin creds) then why are only Cisco routers being targeted?
How is disinformation classified? By algorithm? By actual people?
Amazon gets me shit for cheap and quickly. They could punch me in the face once a year for a fee. I’m not paying $8 to target for fucking deodorant when amazon will get it to me tomorrow for $3. Every penny in this economy counts.
Go after fucking Xfinity and real monopolies that hold our infrastructure and food supply hostage. Otherwise people aren’t going to respect government and the FTC.
Luckily, Disney is way ahead of him on ruining comic book movies.
If Twitter has nothing to hide, then they should have no objection to this bill.
I can’t believe a lawmaker said this with a straight face. This was the same logic to pass the Patriot Act .
This may be the one time I side with X. This seems like a massive first amendment right violation. Why did California choose to start now and not years ago when this became a problem. What constitutes a social media company? How will the government decide to regulate what is “controversial”. This law seems strange with a lot of gaping holes.
Reddit has been shit for over a decade now and the mods were a big reason for that. I’m completely switching to Lemmy by the end of the year and any subs that don’t exist on Lemmy that exist on Reddit I’ll just create myself. Maybe even write a bit that takes top posts from the niche reddit subs I like and posts them here to get people to convert.
This bot meta as hell
This is the reason why for me, I actually took it one step further and rebuilt a front end news site with Django and shared the link out with friends who are interested in the same topics, added a discussion feature. Essentially, I have a python script that runs and pulls RSS feed data. If the whole article isn’t included then it uses Asyncio, aiohttp, and Beautifulsoup to pull in the article. Dump all that to a Postgres instance then have Django run on top of it. It’s like deconstructing news to reconstruct it
I’ve never heard soft but I’ve heard hypocritical. Tom morello comes from a wealthy background and went to Harvard, the band censored themselves on tv when asked to do so, they live in gated communities and run elbows with the people who run the machine they are raging against, and they came out and supported Hillary Clinton (who is the definition of the machine). Myself and others aren’t saying they should’ve supported trump (who is also apart of the machine), but they should have called for more grassroots political candidates and supported them.
