    I think they have plenty of x86 experience at this point.

    Qualcomm’s original release for this was like 5+ years ago IIRC. This is likely just an iteration of that. I believe previously it was tied to very specific devices, but it sounds like they are going to make it more generic now.

    They have been working on this for a very long time. It’s not like they just spun this up overnight.
