Do I need my original signing keys? The server ran out of space due to huge pgsql table size, and I don’t feel like trying to salvage any part of it. I want to move most of the processes into my home infrastructure with maybe a vps in front of the public connectivity.

I believe (but I’m not sure, been a while since I last checked) that servers will accept new keys after a certain certain amont of time. From what I remember, after about two weeks servers should accept your new keys.
Your server may get very confused about federated rooms it doesn’t know about, because the other servers think you still have a joined account. I believe there was a blog post by someone in your situation who resolved this issue by joining the rooms with the weird state from his new accounts, but I can’t find it at the moment.
Thank you! I’ll start fresh and see what happens. I’m moving to a dedicated r/w & r pool for pgsql, which will have much better storage and maintenance associated, so hopefully I can avoid this issue in the future.
