Even if you don’t take adderall, take a breather, step back and relax, although it may feel like we’re complex unbeatable machines, sleep is more important than you may think.

I personally went through this thought as well but what you may be failing to consider is how often you may neglect your sleep, for how long do you do this, and more importantly, the pain tolerance of others. Some people simply do not communicate their uncomfortable feelings or have a duller sense of them. It does not make you lesser or more than those others but take a moment to appreciate yourself and all the work that you do. You are doing just as much at your own pace.

There shouldn’t be anything keeping the car from running normally. I expect any tech you wouldn’t find in a ‘66 chevelle (anything aside from 12v push lighter, signals) to be busted if telematics are disabled.

Check this out. Forum talks about Toyota making you jump through hoops to disable it officially, or you can pull a fuse and lose access to hands free and other radio tools.

The move for Toyota seems to be to pull the fuse and install an aftermarket radio, in Ford’s case removal of the actual telemetrics box if the manufacturer has one installed in the select model is sufficient and does not disable anything important. I can’t fathom what Mercedes, BMW, and GM does as they are notorious for making things hard to access.

Edit: I recall GM had made intellisense or whatever the fuck it’s proprietary software is called open source since the car reminded me on every start up. I don’t recall ever seeing anything interesting made for it.

I think we read Cicero’s De Republica and I remember Louden speaking about the music of the spheres. We drew many comparisons but I think I remember one being that the story opens like that in the Odyssey I think? Or maybe one of Eurepedes or Sophocles plays where they use muses and a chorus kind of as an “audience” of sorts to demonstrate the seriousness and invested interest of the public.

Well it absolutely lagged my pc in realtime and made anything inaccessible, even opening task manager was not an option. Cause your PC is hella beefy, it’s really odd that it’s doing that on Vanilla.

Also if you are playing FTB… for some absolutely insane reason they added a crouch to quick farm option that is basically cheating bonemeal. This mod crashes the game whenever you crouch near any farmable objects.

Use a third party launcher like ATLauncher to be able to see the logs of what is going on. To me it sounds like there is too much going on. My game does a similar thing when I regenerate more than 5 chunks with worldedit. It seems like the game is playing normally but it is quietly getting slower and slower until it crashes and disappears all of you progress.

Try adjusting your allocated RAM to 8+ GB and get a 3rd part launcher so you can see what it is that bugs the game out.

I’m not sure what game compatibility with Linux is but… I just rather download a game and play it instead of fucking around with CLI commands to get WINE or whatever garbage has to be run in order to play video games. But that’s just me. I know better than to ignore someone’s entire question just to suggest what I want.

Beautifully put. It’s all about it being an astounding play (story/poem) that was meant to be seen by aristocratic wealth and written almost as an afterthought, giving us all these different interpretations. And there’s the instruction sets that are also added in, which in my opinion is what made religion the ugly thing it is today, controlling. Thankfully humanity kept storytelling, book and playwriting well and alive thousands of years into the future.

Another thing is, don’t look at what post biblical professors are saying. The guy from Bible Odyssey is focusing on why we continued that same stupid scheme from the Torah all the way to the KJV of the Bible. James Louden has books that focus on the similarities from the absolutely oldest pieces of text found (Sumerian Gilgamesh, The Odyssey, Iliad, etc) and can point you into the direction that you are looking for.

Took a humanities class on the development of religion. As another poster commented, the Bible is a collection of books and stories that can be found even on other religions and older texts. Given that this a collection of works dating back over thousands of years, my recollection is more of generalization that can point to what to look for rather than provide extreme specifics.

Take the Odyssey, it can be compared to books in the Bible such as David and Goliath, the flood, etc. There is others such as the epic of Gilgamesh demonstrating the use of gods giving humans epic powers and fighting one eyed evil giants. The use of daemons converted into demons in the Bible. For example, It is said a daemon is someone of 2 genders in one body, similar to a hermaphrodie however one part was holy (iirc), and would serve to be a useful companion rather than an evil force against you.
