Helldivers 2 is 25-35 on medium and smooth. Very little stuttering.

Let’s take a page from Helldivers and call it “Managed Capitalism.” Surely far better than rootstock /s
That’s a smoke screen. Another is the “liberal brainwashing machine” school system scare. What they fear is the statistic that higher educated individuals trend towards populism and progressivism. They see higher education of youths as a threat to their political base, which turns into “spineless parents sending kids to liberul brainwashing camps funded by the gubmnt.”
The ghost of Reagan?
Not to mention that if he is off of any 1 ballot and loses, he has ammunition for another Jan6. If he has a “fair shot” and loses, there is less plausibility and (hopefully) fewer followers in the repeat.
Which this probably is if they want to pack as much data as possible in one unit.
Clippy never had a voice and tbh the one that comes to mind for him is not very easy on the ears. Like downpitched spongebob.
I miss the N64 unironically… Emulating it never feels right.
Here’s an obsure one: every N64 game I had as a kid used 2 of the 3 N64 grips. You got either Dpad + face buttons, stick + face buttons (most common), and dpad + stick (sim weirdos). So you took the grip that each game required. However, to unlock the minigames and half of the features of Pokemon Stadium, you needed to use the dpad to select other overworld items. I owned the game for 2 years having only played half of it.

The purpose of life (imo) is to discover humanity in yourself and what “the best human” means to you. People get their ideas on “the best human” from many inspired examples. The Buddha, Mohammed the Prophet, Jesus of Nazareth, Julius Caesar, or Jimmy Buffet. Some people need no such idols and can form their own understanding of what it means to be human, but all of these scale.
Your humanity plays into the identity of your family, plays into the identity of your city/town, plays into the identity of your region, plays into the identity of your nation, and at the top is the true meaning of life: the culmination of every dream and desire, the moral fabric of our species, and the embodiment of the only such entity in existence to our knowledge. The purpose of life is to find that, reconcile with it, and use the wisdom you gain in doing so to help shape our species into a happy, healthy, and mature civilization, or die trying.
He didn’t want to militarize for free
Chinese government overreach? Surely hell has frozen over /s
I see a future where China out and out steals the unity backend to publish the CCP spyware flavor of unity.
It’s not the political views, it’s the vibe. They dominate conversations, brigade posts constantly, and generally seem to act in bad faith in just about every interaction I’ve ever seen them partake in. Even looking into their posts, about 40% of it is talking about how to make the most noise in the most 4chan-esque, obnoxious way. At what point would you consider that behavior not in line with your threshold for “fuck-arounding?” I’m all for having a reasonable, 2-sided discussion with just about any reasonable differing opinion, even if neither of us changes our views, but that’s not what I’m seeing. I’m seeing megaphones in the form of PNGs that drown out any discussion and generally make everyone else’s experience on Lemmy worse.
Choke the wolf. His words are poison.
I wonder, if I put image posts without context as a comment, will I, too, look as desperate for attention and legitimacy as yourself?
The multiplayer version on the Black Hawk Down engine was so sick. Better than Battlefield, and sold at Walmart for like $10
I’ve always wondered how good proton is when the hardware is less standardized than a console/pc hybrid. Can you really just slap in any modern x86 CPU and Nvidia Card and just go? How’s driver handling? It’s been years since I’ve used a linux desktop environment, so I’d be coming to it with navigational/file-handling skills in terminal alone.
I would suddenly feel very sad for the one of them that bottled it up for 40 years, and for the other who obviously has known for many of those years…
